The bed was so comfortable! My partner and I slept amazingly well. The staff were super friendly and it was very nice to have to kiosk there to buy snacks. The room was a little dated but was super clean.

The staff was super welcoming, and the room was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. All the essentials were there (towels, soap, extra blankets). There is also a cozy closed backyard, which was super useful to leave our dog running a little without leash to use some energies (accessible also at night!) It is also close to the high way E45 so it made it super easy to stop here for the night. I am sad we only stayed one night, but we will definitely come back!

The bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. The staff and owners where very kind and friendly. Parking on premises. The breakfast room was very cozy and the breakfast itself was very good. We were wanting for nothing. I'd definitely book again if in the area.

Your breakfast table is already for you when you enter the dining room. The hotel is quiet with comfortable beds. The staff is very helpful.

The castle is marvelous and the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and stylish. I highly recommend dinner in the restaurant, the food is incredible. There were even red squirrels to be seen climbing around the trees and castle walls.

Everything was just great! Excellent location, almost in the center of the old city, clean rooms, comfortable beds, sufficient amount of toiletries. The staff is very polite, attentive, and tried to help with any questions. The breakfast at the neighboring hotel is very good, tasty and of high quality. A beautiful family run historic hotel near the centre of a glorious town. The on-site parking was very valuable for our two night stay as part of a longer road trip. Our host explained the area to us and highlighted the walk round the city walls that stand in close proximity to the hotel. There was an outdoor seating area available to guests which was great for morning coffee. The host grows fruit on the premises and has three beehives so we enjoyed his home made jams and his honey. Jams are available to buy so we brought several jars back with us.

Absolute gem! Woke up looking at a garden that looked like it was a scene from game of thrones. Note to motorcyclists: secure underground parking included!
