The location was beautiful and quiet. The shower was nice and powerful. The decor throughout the property was to a high standard, though minimal. The view and surroundings were lovely. The veranda was nice for sitting outside. The fridge was a nice size. Bed was comfortable. Electronic door lock means no carrying keys or cards. Being able to park right outside was perfect.

The name does not lie, the cottages are tiny. But they are also awesome. A real-life Moomin cottage. The sofa downstairs folds into a bed, but we ended up squeezing in, all five of us, on the sleeping loft just because it was so cozy.

Great location, within walking distance of the lake.

Great location, within walking distance of the lake. We stayed in August and it was wonderfully peaceful everywhere! Our day trips: Ribe, Esbjerg, Blavand, Kolding, and Fredericia, but there's so much more to see.

The house was filthy. Items were broken and missing.

The house was filthy. Items were broken and missing. After a complaint, someone came to inspect and took photos, and later that day, the moldy mattress was taken away. We heard nothing more. A complaint was filed.

Practical accommodation with everything you need, also...

Practical accommodation with everything you need, also nearby. A good supermarket, a small but pretty village perfect for a stroll. It's centrally located between Esbjerg, Billund, and Kolding, all worth a visit. Ansager is beautifully situated in the countryside, with many farms engaged in livestock and agriculture.

Ansager wasn't a tourist destination for us, but a...

Ansager wasn't a tourist destination for us, but a convenient base for exploring Denmark, from the Jutland peninsula to Copenhagen. Staying in Ansager, we visited Aalbrog, Odense, and Copenhagen without difficulty. Be careful with paid parking, practically everywhere: a couple of oversights cost us dearly.

There was a lot of beauty around the river.

There was a lot of beauty around the river. A short visit over to the Summer Garden, otherwise there wasn't much to see in the town. A visit to Kvie Lake, about 4 km from Ansager, where you can eat pancakes, is recommended.

Ansager is conveniently located, with many attractions...

Ansager is conveniently located, with many attractions within easy reach. The lake is a lovely place to relax, and there's a great pancake house nearby. Be aware, however, that the brochure mentions free access to the swimming pool, but you'll have to choose your own, and they're quite a distance from Ansager.

The location is very nice. There is a lake right outside of the garden, that you can walk around. Also, the house is close to many tourist attractions, like Billund, Esbjerg and the beaches of the North Sea. The interior is a bit rustic and old, but comfortable enough. Definitely more worn-out than on the pictures. Beds are good, the kitchen equipped well enough (although the pans were really worn-out). There is enough room for 2+2 family for sure.

This is a wonderful place. We met the hotel staff just once, at the breakfest, but all on-line communication was without any problems. The breakfest was simply amazing. The whole place is calm, clean and beautiful. That goes for the village too. This was truly accomodation beyond my expectations, as was the whole Denmark.

Great place to stay and visit Ansager and Billund. Nice city, we choosed accomodation in wood house. Three was everything we need. Easy check in and Check out, clear linen and towels, parking place, bathroom and kitchen annex. We recommend this place.

This hotel was located in a small, quiet village. Our request of late arrival was accepted and it was easy with an access code. Self-service bar was a nice idea. The bathroom was large. The inn keeper lady was friendly and breakfast okay.
