Almost in the middle of nowhere, recommended for somebody looking for peaceful and relaxing stay with green pastures around. The breakfast was excellent, everything fresh and very tasty. The room was comfortable although not very large. Very good quality of toiletries. Friendly staff. **** We would especially like to thank Mr. Jakob S. who made our dinners exceptional. It's rare to find such professional and committed employees today.

Good location. Very friendly staff. It turned out that my daughter needed medical attention, and they advised the nearest clinic, and then helped to order a taxi. The rooms were basic but clean and modern. Breakfast was good. We only stayed for one night.

Vejle is a bustling small city with a pedestrian centre that contains many speciality shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. Parking almost always available. Vejle is only a 45 minute drive from Aarhus and Odense and even less to Horsens and Kolding. Trains to Copenhagen are regular and the inter-city trains take 2 hours. There are 2 town beaches, both of which have parking and are very clean and shallow, so safe for toddlers upwards. Overall we really like Vejle very much, so much so that we are looking to move there.

While not often a tourist destination, it's cheaper than...

While not often a tourist destination, it's cheaper than Billund, and the shopping is wonderful. The Deer park and fjord is nice to visit as well. While in the area, we visited the Jelling Stones and Billund.

The location of the hotel to the town centre was excellent...

The location of the hotel to the town centre was excellent but the unusual retail stores never seemed to be open whatever day we went in. The location was about right for us to visit further north to The Memorial Park to the Battle of Jutland and absolutely perfect for the short trip to Billund

We were really happy with our visit to Vejle.

We were really happy with our visit to Vejle. I had read that it was an interesting place to visit but was still very surprised how much was going on during our weekend. I love visiting cities I can walk around and Vejle is easily walkable. Walking from harbour (east side) to the Cultural Museum (west side) was a bit too far for our 5 year old to do in one go without needing a snack but overall a great city to visit with a family.

Away from the crowds with cosy cafes, great museums (Vejle Kunstmuseum is incredible!) danish calm and ease way of life: polite, not overly clingy, friendly and super creative. The city is not expensive and you can enjoy being in a not-so-well-known city without the commotion of tourists, but peacefully enjoying the vibe of Denmark

A vibrant 'party town' at the weekend.

A vibrant 'party town' at the weekend. We ate the most amazing Eritrean/Ethiopian food at the 'Afro'. Then danced salsa in the street with a very informal group. Then on to a great karaoke session in a bodega (I can't remember the name of the place, sorry.)

We liked everything about our stay. Great location away from touristic attractions, serene ambience, lawn for play, impeccable and stylish rooms, and homemade breakfast! It was a true oasis we came across during our family travel in Denmark. Definitely a highlight of our trip as we also got to see the undulating fields and experience the tranquility of the countryside. The hosts, Stina and her husband, were genuinely kind and great with kids and were very responsive to inquiries.

We stayed at this hotel and really enjoyed it! It's right in the city center, but still located in a park, so it's quiet and peaceful. A great place if you want to be close to everything but also relax in nature. The interior is very cozy and makes you feel at home. The view from the window is beautiful it’s nice to sit and enjoy it, especially in the morning with a cup of coffee. Breakfast was really good, with lots of options for everyone. We definitely recommend this place!

The hotel is located on the harbour island, which is in the process of being converted to a residential area next to the yacht harbour. There are two architectural gems right next door, the fjordhusen and the bølge building. The hotel itself has a restaurant on the ground floor and a nice lounge on the top floor where you can sit, work, enjoy the view, and have a tap beer. (Breakfast is also served here.)

Nice hotel close to Vejle centrum. A bit hidden but the interior of the atrium is fantastic. The staff a very friendly and helpful. The variety of the breakfast is cool.
