It was a super cozy, clean and surprisingly well-equipped bungalo for such a small place. The host was very kind and attentive. The camping ground was very beautiful and clean. It had everything I needed. The surrounding area is gorgeous and perfect for hikes. Highly recommended!

Owners are marvellous people very friendly and very helpfull I book accidentally a room with no shower and toilet Marcus abgrade my room in seconds. They welcome us earlier than check in when Marcus find out that I have been driving all night. Love this place. Breakfast looks like for VIP and taste very good as well.

Our negative experience started upon arrival.

Our negative experience started upon arrival. Check-in was confirmed by email from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. We arrived at 4:30 PM, but the reception was already closed. There was only a sign saying it would reopen the next day at 9:00 AM. No prior information, no late check-in instructions, and no emergency contact number were provided. We were travelling with our family and almost had to leave. By chance, a pool staff member helped us — special thanks to him. Only then did we learn about a key mailbox near the reception, which is normally explained in advance by email with a PIN code — information we never received. Another family was also looking for staff to obtain bed linen, which they had booked days earlier. Bed linen is charged extra (~€17 per person). Additionally, electricity and water are charged separately at check-out. Despite very economical usage (no sauna), we were charged €240 for one week. There are no meters in the house, so the charges cannot be verified. The house looked acceptable but clearly not thoroughly cleaned (cobwebs). We had to use our own kitchen utensils. In my opinion, this property may work better in summer, but for the same price there are much better and more transparent options elsewhere.

Grasten is the place where the Danish royal family spends...

Grasten is the place where the Danish royal family spends their Summer vacation at the castle in town. The town itself is small and very quiet, not a lot of stores and restaurants, especially not for tourists.

The place is exceptional. Quiet, charming with an extraordinary view of the water straight from the living room. On foot you can get everything you need for life in the center of the small town. In addition, a short walk to the beautiful garden by the palace in Grasten completes the set of quiet pleasures. The apartment is very comfortable, has a large comfortable terrace and a large bathroom. I liked this calming place very much.

We came to Grasten for our wedding. Our dog travelled with us. The lovely house gave us very sweet memory. Oue dog was very happy here during our 2 days stay, she loved the garden very much and wanted to stay most of time in the garden. Johan is very warm and considerable, gives us tipps and remind. We love here.❤️

Great help from the owner because booking.com gave us the wrong pincode. Owner answers the phone immediately and is nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean, airconditioning was really a relief on the hot day we arrived. Bathroom is also nice with a good shower.
