We drove to Stege and Mons Klint from Copenhagen - an easy drive and well worth the trip. We loved the GeoCenter and the cliffs themselves. We probably could have spent a little more time there to enjoy the many trails and time on the beach. We only had a few hours; a full day would have been better, but the time we had was well-spent. In the late evening/early morning we headed to Dark Sky Nyord to catch a glimpse of the amazing Milky Way and we were not disappointed! Stege itself had lots of nice food options. We enjoyed pizza at Restaurant Pizzeria Defino and were impressed by the bustling business they were doing. It's apparently quite popular with the locals too.

Excellent place to stay on Møn. Hotel comfort combined with countryside charm. Rooms and bathrooms are of good size. Great breakfast and coffee, and very hospitable hosts. In the dining room/cafe they have a variety of games. Especially table hockey and football were popular among younger guests. We missed that dinner was available on the spot and brought our own charcoal grill. There was a place to set it in the backyard. Next time we will have dinner - it smelled delicious.

The location outside Stege was OK for us as we had a car, but its location meant we could not drink and drive and so had to use the hotel restaurant. The restaurant was fine, however, so no complaints there, as were the staff. However, we were pleased that we had booked just the one night as the room was quite basic and not as well-appointed as we had hoped.

Lovely, clean, spacious house in a great location. A peaceful place to stay for a relaxing holiday. A short walk from the beach and a short drive into the nearest town, Stege, which has shops, restaurants etc.
