First and foremost the host was warm and including. I had the priviledge to say hi and goodnight to all the animals at Blåbjerg Barn. The surroundings are beautiful and the flat upstairs was mine alone - quiet, nice and clean with sun in the morning. A place to revisit.

The house exceeded our expectations. Throughout the house, there were live flowers arranged beautifully. The interior details are simply fantastic and filled with history. A particular surprise was that the house is located in a unique historic town. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the castle, which belonged to the royal family until 2014, is located close to the house. It's a 12-minute walk to the castle, passing by unique thatched-roof houses along an incredibly beautiful street. We travel a lot, and this house deserves a solid 10 or higher rating. We took photos of every detail of the interior in the house. It was pure delight. I don't want to write too much; I'm attaching photos.

We loved the location and the gorgeous buildings in the old parts of Møgeltunder where the kro is located.. Great area for walks, especially when the weather is on your side. The Schackenborg castle is next door. Our room was located upstairs in a qute house next to the main building. The room was petite but still spacious, considering the time when the house was built. The bathroom was well equipped with toiletries, and it had a bathtub. The breakfast was extraordinary with a good spread from local producers as well as other Danish foods. Lovely porcelain and ambience. The staff was very hospitable and friendly. Especially the staff at the time for our arrival when the reception was closed. They had to leave their duties at the restaurant to give us the things missing in our room as it was only set up for one person. A minor error, but they really got out of their ways to set it straight. The garden was lovely as lovely as well.
