Asa Spa Hotel is a lifestyle and wellness hotel located on a beautiful promenade, in the immediate vicinity of the yacht harbor. Got an offer and decided to visit SPA facility instead of hostel or questhouse. Definitely it was worth it. Very clean and quality spot. Room was cheapest possible, but it was quite large. Breakfast table was quite good (8/10) and everything was there what you can ask for.

Hotel in Kuressaare
Located in Kuressaare and offering views of the local castle and the town park, self-managed Kuursaal Guest house offers rooms with free WiFi and an LCD TV. I booked a room with the view to the castle - it was spacy, clean and cozy. View is great, castle is just in front of the windows. There’s a terrace with the restaurant tables just below the windows, so I guess it might be noisy in high season. I was visiting the place in low season and the weather didn’t allow to sit outside, so can’t complain about noises anyway.
Many families visiting Kuressaare loved staying at Ekesparre Boutique Hotel, Georg Ots Spa Hotel, and Kuursaal Guesthouse.

Nice old, historic town. Well preserved castle. Town is clean and well maintained. Lot of walking areas, nice park and other views. Lot of lovely places to eat. Easy to get around. If necessary, there is Auriga shopping mall just outside center.
Great place to visit during summer. There were many attractions around the island as we drove to destination, so we stopped along the way. There was a Viking expo at the central church, highly recommended if still available.
Very beautiful and quiet place. It is recommended to go on weekdays to fully enjoy the peace and beauty. There are many beautiful restaurants in the Old Town with local dishes. Beautiful walking areas and a family-friendly city with children.
Kuressaare is a small but really lovely city to spend a day or a few. Even though we explored all the Saaremaa, but we stayed in Kuressaare and enjoyed little cafes and restaurants for dinner. It's cool, that you can have a little walk around the city, then spend a cozy evening in one of the restaurants and in the end see the sunset near the sea in Kuressare beach and do it in just a matter of an hour, as the city is rather small and you can reach everything really quickly.
Kuressaare was a quaint and picturesque town. We very much enjoyed the promenade along the water and the old, wooden houses. We ate dinner at Taxi Pub - cheap and tasty, very typical Estonian food, but our two teenage sons said the portions were too small! :) We visited the castle/museum - it contained many interesting exhibits, a cafe and roof top viewing platform. Just beyond the castle is the city/public beach with changing cabins and WC. We were very pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a town.
Kuressaare is a wonderful, relatively small town. The castle is extremely picturesque, the seaside is close by, and there is a nice range of small cafes and shops in the old town part. It is also good to combine visit of Kuressaare with some longer car trips around Saaremaa/Muhu - the nature and seaside views are amazing, and the locals are most friendly.
Hotel Rüütli booked us into their “sister” hotel next door, Hotel Meri, belonging to the same group. The staff is truly the gem in this hotel. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy or to fulfill requests. Always smiling and friendly! When we arrived, we were greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine :):) The hotel has a great location right next to the castle. Short walk to restaurants etc. We had a sauna in our room which was pleasant. (Also our own coffee machine which was great)
Kuressaare
It's spacey, the master bed is really comfortable, there's free wifi, and a lot of facilites - even a washing maschine. The host was totally nice, easy to reach, and quickly reacting to messages and questions. Also very fair (we unfortunately destroyed a glass lid, they didn't ask for compensation). We loved the free parking behind the house. Downtown Kuressaare is a 3-5min walk away, and as long as the windows are closed, you barely notice the main street right in front.
This was definitely one of the best hotels I have ever been to! Ekesparre Hotel created a calm and gorgeous place for their guests with perfection in every little detail. The staff is really friendly and welcoming, the rooms are comfortable and pretty and the location is outstanding near the castle. The breakfast was also a highlight, the neatly and elegant set tables, the music and the fresh and diverse food choices.
Kuressaare
The deluxe apartment was nicely designed, also spacious enough for a family of 4. High quality sofabed and very comfortable double bed. Spa was cozy and clean. I highly appreciate the fact it was kept mostly for hotel guests, so very calm on a Sunday evening (only some 5-10 people there at the same time), exactly as I was hoping for. During the times like this I felt secure and was actually able to enjoy the spa.
The staff was excellent they provide you bicycles and if available with a child seat .which is incredibly helpful so that we could ride for the distance like 10-15 Km from the hotel. Cycles are available to book even before you visit and you can book for short times as well as for whole day .Also they were flexible enough to switch the booked bicycle to another one for my spouse
Kuressaare
The location is very good for Kuressaare. The main street is literally around the corner with all the restaurants. In the opposite direction is Kuressaare Castle with the park. Three major spas, tennis courts and more restaurants are behind the park, in short walking distance.
Kuressaare
Very pleasant stay in Kuressaare! The place is very spacious, nicely furnished and cozy. We were 4 and had plenty of space for us. It’s also located in the center of the old town and just about 100m from the Castle. The owner was really nice and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Kuressaare
I have not stayed at the property myself, but booked it for my family members. According to them they liked the location (situated near the castle and the sea) and were quite satisfied with the spacious house and facilities.
Kuressaare
Nice and quiet room sparsely but sufficiently furnished. Very nice welcome. Lovely garden cafe next door for breakfast and small meals. Very close to the park and the impressive episcopal palace of Kuressare.

Amazing location - quite and perfect sea views, next to castle, downtown 15 min on foot. Spacious apartment, vaste garden to relax.
Amazing and very rich breakfast, small cozy spa with calm music, scandinavic interior, helpful staff. The stay was just perfect.

It is very difficult to say what specifically did I like about Vinoteegi residence as the answer is everything! The hosts have thought about every smallest detail and staying at Vinoteegi residence is like staying from home away from home while someone else is preparing your breakfast! Best place to stay when you're visiting Saaremaa!
Excelent service through phone. Contactless hotel is one of the best inventions. They have everything you need in the kitchen. Have a playroom for kids. Clean towels and sheets. Hotel is in the city centre. All in all I would definately come back!
