Hotel in Heliopolis, Cairo
Novotel Cairo Airport offers 2 outdoor pools in the landscaped garden, free Wi-Fi and free airport shuttle. It is a 10-minute drive from the International Convention and Exhibition Centre. I was just one night in this hotel, because I arrived to Cairo at night and would fly again the next day early morning. This hotel was better than expected, as in some comments there were a lot of bad things about it. I really liked it. Very clean, great ameanities, the staff at reception were very nice and told me my room would be facing the garden, so there would be noise until 22h30. I asked for another room and they changed it right away. No noise at all, air conditioning in the room, warm water... There is a shuttle every 30min to the airport (which from the Hotel takes around 5-10min). Very nice experience.

Many families visiting Cairo loved staying at Horizon Nile Tower Hotel, El Otel and Almadiafa - المضيفه.
It’s so smoky and dusty, people are impolite and they are so rude. The hotel management was so bad as that didn’t understand the tourist law in the country and then gave us too much headache and uncomfortable stay.
Cairo is an amazing city with lots to see and experience and that is why we return every year. Unfortunately there are 2 big problems that I find that is becoming bigger every year. Taxi drivers exploiting tourists and sub-standard quality apartments. Having lived in Cairo, we know most of the routes but because we look like tourists, they take a road 30 minutes longer when there is one 10 minutes away from the destination. It seems the Egyptian apartment owners think they can just throw a bunch of furniture and bedding together, put and advert on a platform that is Non-refundable and they do not have to give anything in return for the money they are taking from guest. Basic cleanliness in almost all the apartments we have stayed in the last 5 years have been below standard. This is a pity because Cairo and Egypt have so much to offer but they forget that people from outside Egypt are more hygienic and value cleanliness. This year I also observed that the staff of especially some chain stores like Carrefour are rude and very unfriendly. They should be glad they still have a job post Covid.
people are very friendly and welcoming to visitors. Great food, especially dessert. I felt bad when I see broken pavements in most Cairo streets and lots of sand always aggregates near pavements. AL-HUSSAIN area is a very beautiful touristic area and I was so disturbed by the way it's left with garbage on the ground and broken pavements and unpaved pedestrian roads. I haven't seen a single cleaner during my visit to AL-HUSSAIN area.
1_ we have waited long to get the keys 2- the property was not clean 3- the cupboard was full of junk and no clouse Hager 4- beds were uncomfortable 5- I paid 1000 pounds as insurance and they told me to give it back when leaving but they did not give a single cent
Pyramids in Giza and Sakkara are really worth visiting. The guide told us its not worth going inside (probably because he wanted to end the tour earlier). I wanted to go and enjoyed it. The restaurant in front of Sakkara pyramids is really good. Keep in mind that everyone wants tips and they would sell you everything (the real price is at least 50% lower than the one they say first). Bazar is nice to see if you don't mind annoying offers. We enjoyed city tour as well: mosque, coptic Cairo and the museum (we went to the one that has mummies). I recommend the restaurant Old Cairo in front of the hanging church.
I love Cairo with all its history. The traffic is CRAZY. Although I was there during Eid, so no traffic this time around. The 'old' museum is quite decimated compared to 5 years ago, while it is in the process of being related to the new GRAND building.
The reception Staff isn´t really friendly. If you ask them to call a Taxi they only call their own Taxi Driver (who is even more extensive than a German Taxi!!!) Don´t use their Airport Shuttle. It is far to expensive. You get to the hotel for 80% cheaper from the Airport by a normal public Taxi. We only paid 140 ägypten § which is about 8€ The breakfast was good and the room was okay. It wasn´t really clean and the bad was unfortunatelly pretty smally. BE AWAERE OFF THE HIGH EXTRA CHARGE FROM THE HOTEL FOR NON EGYPTEN GUESTS
This hotel is in the most prime location in Cairo. Right by the Egyptian Museum, not far from the airport, and not far from the Pyramids. It is on a peninsula right on the Nile and is very peaceful. It is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Cairo. We would 100% stay here again. The food is amazing as they have like 6 restaurants all serving different great cuisine. The breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. It is a buffet and has everything you could ever want. The staff was great. Thank you!!
The people were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit dated but everyone tried to make it very homey and inviting. The location is in a quiet area but with lots of riverside cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are very clean although the beds were a bit hard. The hotel breakfast was the best part, it was a slightly fancier version of the standard Egyptian breakfast and very delicious. The view was amazing from both side of the hotel so you can't go wrong there!
The best thing that I found about the hotel is the view of the pyramids that they have, and the immediate access to the pyramids entrance. The room was comfortable and had a good resturant on the roof with a great view of the pyramids right next to it. The food was good and the staff was very helpful in many things. The main thing was helping to get a COVID PCR test. They made the appointment and had someone come to the hotel and take the test and the results came back fast and cheap.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had booked a taxi upon my arrival with the hotel but missed this. I don’t think early morning arrangements for anything in Egypt is a good idea. the rooftop is a fabulous place to have a coffee and take in the city lights of Cairo. The hotel is very central and a short walk to the downtown area. there are cafes and restaurants just across the bridge and so much to explore!
Best View Pyramids Hotel exceeded my and my girlfriend's expectations. Coming from New York City (me) and Tanzania (her), we were blown away! The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the view of the Pyramids from our room made our Egypt trip something special we'll remember for the rest of our lives. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an incredible, unforgettable experience.
This hotel is amazing! For the price we paid, in many 5 star hotels the service is less impressive then of Crown Hotel’s. Friendly staff, they go out of their way to help you. They help you with luggage, no matter what time of the day. The laundry service is also great and cheap. They can book taxi’s and tours if needed for great prices. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Highly recommended!
The hotel is located in downtown Cairo, amazing location and close by to most tourist attractions. the staffs are polite, the guest relations manager Nevine was an absolute delight, she made sure our stay was comfortable. Our first room had some problems so she upgraded us to a better room. The hotel has many restuarants and its own shopping complex, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, spa….overall one of the best 5 stars.
Room Size is amazing, Very Clean , Covid-19 Measuring is taken seriously, the view is very good specially at night, stuff are helpful and professional, they make sure your stay is perfect , breakfast is the best among a lot of 5 stars hotels in hurghada, highly recommended if you want to take sometime off inside cairo in luxury life style with value money.
Giza, Cairo
The view from the rooftop terrace was exceptional and the best thing about the hotel. The location is very good as you are right in front of the ticket office for the Great Pyramids. They offer free transport from the airport and everything went well even after we had a delay of our flight.
Cairo
Pretty much everything. The most hospitable and warm hosts I've ever encountered, truly 5 star hotel service but with homey atmosphere. Plus amazing breakfast, comfy beds, facilities, fast WiFi, great location. Definitely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed
Giza, Cairo
It was very nice and clean hotel, with an amazing view to the pyramids. Very good breakfast in the morning on the terrace facing the pyramids A few minutes away from the Sphinx and the Pyramids. Arranged for a taxi to meet at airport and kind of some tours in Egypt
So easy to stay here after/before a flight. The hotel was very nice and comfortable. Le Méridien Cairo Airport also had the best/strongest wifi out of all my hotels in Egypt (including a different Cairo hotel).
Cairo
So nice staff and cooperative. My wish to book this hotel again. Good location. Shopping malls. Restaurants. Cafe everything around...very good experience with Egypt Tour...I like to book this Hotel again.
Giza, Cairo

Mediocre hotel, not 5 star by any means.. extremely clean and functional, though Staff was courteous and helpful. Close to airport
All was goog very clean and posh 5 stars best hotel during my stay
