It's a really cost-effective hotel. You can see the pyramids and it's close to the Great Egyptian Museum (GEM). The staff were so kind and the hotel itself had an Egyptian feel, which was nice. The bedding was clean and the hot water came out well. It was so nice to see the pyramids in the window. We were very satisfied :)

The hotel in front of the Pyramids offers an unforgettable stay: the rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and provide a breathtaking view of the pyramids. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, with a special thanks to Yasin, who warmly and professionally welcomed us at 6 a.m. Moreover, they organize tours with local experts, always available and courteous, making the exploration of Giza's millennial history even more fascinating. The breakfast is freshly prepared with all the typical Egyptian specialties, served on a beautiful rooftop to start the day in the best way! A perfect hotel for those who want to fully experience the magic of Giza.

The hotel itself is stunning, with modern decor, spacious rooms, and excellent amenities, but what truly stood out was the staff. Every single team member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The front desk team was incredibly welcoming, efficient, and always ready with a smile, whether it was during check-in, offering helpful local tips, or arranging transportation.

FAQs about hotels in Cairo

Resting Place of Pharaohs

Born of an ancient civilisation, Cairo is a vast metropolis centred around the Nile. Its sheer scale can feel overwhelming (especially when flying over it into Cairo Airport), so plan ahead. An obvious starting point are the Giza Pyramids. Although the pharaohs are long gone, the grandeur of their burial pyramids, the Sphinx and Solar Boat are testament to their ambition.

The city’s Egyptian Museum houses a dazzling display of ancient Egyptian artefacts, including finds from Tutankhamun’s tomb in Luxor. Around the corner is Tahrir, a huge square and focal point of the 2011 Egyptian Revolution.

East is Islamic Cairo, home to 9th-century Ibn Tulun Mosque, Al-Azhar Mosque (site of the world’s oldest university), and the Khan el-Khalili souk – remember to haggle. The Citadel, with its elegant Mohammed Ali Pasha Mosque, sits on a hill offering far-reaching city views.

If you want to step out of cultural tours, take a Nile cruise by felucca, spot wildlife in Wadi Digla desert park or visit Egypt’s top theme parks: Dream Park and Magic Land, where you can tour Egyptian TV studios.

Before heading to your Cairo accommodation, sample the local cuisine – the falafel and fuul (bean paste) are delicious. Turkish coffee is a staple and there are hundreds of shisha bars, while major Cairo hotels have bars serving alcohol.

Cairo downtown, although vibrant, is noisy and really dirty.

Cairo downtown, although vibrant, is noisy and really dirty. It’s a challenge to cross the road, traffic is crazy. I’d recommend you stay in Giza near the pyramids and Grand Egyptian museum, or Zamelek. Don’t not visit Tahrir Square and Talaat Harb street it’s well worth the experience, just don’t stay there, you take an Uber, it’s so cheap.

Cairo is a mega city, with plenty of opportunities and history, but for pedestrians it is a rough place : you always need a cab/Uber - even to cross the streets/highways. Air pollution is a big problem. But nothing new about this..

Our recent stay in Cairo was truly memorable.

Our recent stay in Cairo was truly memorable. We loved exploring the rich culture, iconic Pyramids, delicious food, and meeting warm, compassionate people. The roads were intense and heart-pounding at times, but even that was part of the unique experience. Overall, Cairo is an amazing city full of culture, history, and beautiful places, and we didn’t even have time to see everything. We can’t wait to visit again!

Egypt is where civilisation began.

Egypt is where civilisation began. Yes. we have all said "I've seen it on TV so I don't need to go", I did and finally decided to go. I do not regret the decision one little bit. To see everything in reality is mind blowing and truly awesome. The scale of some of the monuments cannot be captured on film. The people are some of the friendliest you could ever wish to meet and are rightly proud of their country. They convey that to you in the service they give you. The people go out of their way to please you so you go away with the most positive of experiences. In a city of 22 million people there is a lot of traffic. Crossing the road, bearing in mind, there may be 4 to 8 lanes each side, can be a little daunting. Do as the locals do and follow their lead. I do recommend hiring a car with a local driver as the local transport again is confusing. Haggling and tipping is a way of life for Egyptians and Cairo is no exception. Be prepared for this. For me Cairo, Luxor and Egypt in general is the gift that just keeps giving. My advice is take the plunge and embrace it.

Location (shopping practically inside the hotel, variety of restaurants in the hotel and close to the airport). For a one-day stay, on the way back from a tour of Egypt, it is a good option. The lobby decoration is very beautiful and the staff service is very good. The hotel areas were clean and the pool was very beautiful. My room was large and had a good balcony with a view of the pool.

Sara is an amazing and welcoming host. She is a thoughtful and caring host who ensured we had a best time in Cairo during our stay. She even went an extra mile to pick my partner from the airport at 3 am. We had a room with pyramids view and the sunset truly was a cherry on the cake. The highlight of the hotel was the breakfast which was tailor made egyptian style!

Google Fantastic inn just in front of the Sphinx, the Sound and light show. The location is perfect and I believe it's the best location to stay in Cairo. Although it's a bed and breakfast, it feels like the service is from a 5 star hotel. We felt so welcomed here. The staff was so helpful in arranging many thanks for all staff members and the tour Guide.
