The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with recommendations and anything we needed. Virginia and her husband prepared delicious homemade breakfasts every morning, which made our stay even more special.
This place has a wonderful atmosphere and positive energy. We loved watching parrots and swallows visiting the property, and there was also a very friendly dog.
What we appreciated most was the opportunity to experience the real Spain. A large hotel simply cannot offer the same authentic and personal experience.
The sea, bars, and restaurants are all within a short walking distance, making the location very convenient.
Thank you for your hospitality and for making our holiday so memorable. We would gladly come back again!

It is a very friendly place full of locals and visitors from...
It is a very friendly place full of locals and visitors from all over; it is not full of British tourists and tacky shops.
The beach is clean with beautiful grey sand and has lifeguards, games, sun loungers and bars.
There are plenty of places to eat, drink plus small independent shops for food.
It is a very clean area, without being very tourist orienated giving a feel of a real Spanish coastal village.

If you are looking for a peaceful town to holiday in that is still only a 40-minute drive away from the heart of Malaga city centre, then Benajarafe is the place! It has a lovely long beach with many beach clubs that provide great food and a sea view.

Benajarafe was a lovely small town, beach was very close to where we stayed, lots of restaurants and shops. You have to visit the big bakery along the strip, the pastries were amazing.
The only negative was alot of the inner streets were very steep to climb, we had family stay closeby but there property was very high in the inner streets and was an extra 10mins to walk up in the heat, so a few times they luckily had a car and picked us up from the bottom of the street.

Great place to visit! Very chill, but nice. I don’t love the rocky beach but the water is clear mostly. However, sometimes in the evening, a lot of trash washes up. But the waves for the most part are pretty calm and it’s easy to swim. There are fish and the water which is cool for snorkeling.

A great location to visit, away from the big busy centres, relaxed & laid back with locals rather than tourists like us.
Our accommodation back from the beach enjoyed a rural outlook friendly host & amazing homemade breakfast.

Quiet beachfront strip of restaurants and shops, good roads. Beach cleaned daily. Excellent large supermarket with lots of fresh fish and meat at reasonable prices. Easy access to the motorways to Malaga, Granada, Almeria.

1st time staying here and have just rebooked for later in the year. Basic very clean little hotel. Parking. Overlooking beach. Location is wonderful. Bedrooms got everything you need including telly and air conditioning. Little balcony with sea view. Bathroom totally functional and very clean. The hotel has a restaurant right by it. Very good Spanish food. Good prices. Just 2 minutes walk more restaurants which makes it just a great location. Pool wasn’t open but looks so inviting. For the price I totally recommend

Lovely, clean, 2-bedroomed house in the centre of Benajarafe. Directly across from the beach, and beside a bar and a delicious bakery. It wasn’t noisy at all, but it was late October, but house has good roller shutters anyway! Beds and pillows are really comfortable, with nice cotton sheets. Lots of towels provided. Outdoor sitting area to front and back of the house. The house is modern and everything works perfectly. We loved it, and hopefully, we will be back!

The property is on the seafront at Benajarafe next to a busy main road. There is a car park behind the hostal- no charge and easy to access. The room was spotlessly clean with a good en-suite and a powerful shower. I stayed for a night on my way to the airport - absolutely fine for this, but not for a week's holiday. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

Basic nice clean hotel room. Beds very comfortable and really nice view from balcony on swimming pool end sea. Palms with birds makes you feel like in Caribbean. Nice sandy beach just across the street. Parking and restaurant available.
