The breakfast was really good. The open planned area contains a lounge dining and kitchen area which is available to guests, including a courtyard garden and a games room. In the kitchen, you were able to help yourself to a great selection of food. If you wanted hot items you used the facilities to prepare it yourself. Lovely place to stay for a stop over

Very happy with the whole experience, staff were very helpful especially the waitress at breakfast as she spoke some English and helped us to understand translating for us
If in area again would definitely return to El Patio.

Manager was very friendly, the room was very cosy with good kitchen facilities and very interesting place. Heating was programmed and came on automatically. Easy to find. Towels and shower wash provided.
We did not feel welcome.
Had to search for a receptionist to book in.
It was really a truck stop.
We had to search the streets to find something to eat.
In the morning.
The breakfast room was full of road workers, milling around in hi vi's. We struggled to get served. Miserable long faced staff.
We were glad to leave.

We have been using this hotel for many years as we travel from the Alicante region to Bilbao, or Santander ferry ports. We have always found the staff friendly and helpful.
The hotel rooms are always clean and fresh on arrival.
The restaurant is typically Spanish the food always very tasty and varied.
This hotel just a great overnight stop.

Comfortable stopover en route to Santander and the second time we have stayed here. The room had air conditioning which was essential in the 36c heat. Beds and pillows were most comfortable this time. Bar was very atmospheric as always and breakfast was as expected. Staff were friendly and we managed to communicate well despite the language barrier.
There was not a vegetarian choice on the menu but they managed to cater for us nevertheless and that was greatly appreciated.
Parking is free and on site.
All in all a very good stay and with such convenient access to the motorway. Great value for money and we will stay here again in the future.

A very clean and we'll maintained hotel.
A very clean and we'll maintained hotel. Accommodation good for a quick stay. Good value.
It would help if the afternoon staff had been a little more welcoming and not so brusque/grumpy!
It would have had a higher rating if one towel had been provided for each guest, instead of having to share!

Friendly staff and particularly helpful with making allowances for our two big dogs. Allowed us to take them in the restaurant, as long as not near the other diners. Our room was modern, clean and spacious. Can definitely recommend it if you have dogs with you.

I have been visiting and buying my wine there for over...
I have been visiting and buying my wine there for over twenty years, there is excellent wine (and several varieties) for much lower prices than Rioja; the people are generally nice; the town is banal, not pretty but tourists and visitors don't come for its looks; Cariñena is at short distance from Saragossa and on the A23 to Teruel and Valencia, very accessible.
Carinena which is 30km south of Saragossa and is an ideal stop over traveling down or up through Spain. A historic wine growing area dating back to the Roman times. A small town worth a visit. The hotel is easy to find with ample parking. Easy level access if disabled. The reception is not manned so book in via the bar. Rooms give the impression of being new so are spacious and clean. No frills such as room service etc but all you will need for a comfortable nights stay.
Great breakfast with local sausages instead of usual croissant by special request! 😁
Coffee very good.
Atmosphere genial and friendly. All the locals use the cafe and bar, as do the lorry drivers en route to various places.
Very busy but quick service. The manager works so hard.
Lovely local wines and produce/food for sale in the shop area at incredibly good prices.
We always use this hotel as it meets all our requirements.
Hasta luego!
We were very pleasantly surprised by how modern and nice the room was. We arrived at 10.30 pm and were booked in by a very nice lady who was doing three jobs at once in the bar. Good location, the best place we have stayed at in Carinena since our usual hotel had closed down after 2020. Great nights sleep and a good breakfast. Not far off the A23 when driving to/from France for the ferry.
Superb location for half way break from Ferries.to Benidorm.. Very near to motorway. Excellent atmosphere and room was outstanding. Requested a low floor because of disability and had ground floor at no extra charge. Everywhere very clean throughout. Thoroughly recommend this hotel will definitely be my stopover in the future.
We arrived quite late, and were given a warm welcome, the room was a good size, spotlessly clean and we had a great nights sleep. Lovely coffee and croissant the next day. We can't rate it high enough and we will definitely stay again on our trip from France to southern Spain. Thank you Hotel Carinena!
This hotel is in a great location for a stopover. Ample free parking. Good traditional Spanish food. Menu del dia is excellent value and there are choices. Breakfast in the buzzy bar was good. Even the previously grumpy guy was welcoming. Great place to buy local wines.
Have used this hotel several times before and will again. Always good value for money, clean, warm, and comfortable with an excellent restaurant with a very well priced evening meal. Good breakfast served in the bar, which we like. Friendly atmosphere.
The hotel is right on the N330 just on the south side of town The staff are all very friendly, except the owner/manager. Menu del dia is excellent value. Breakfast ok, no frills. Loads of parking. Our room was quite large, with good views.
This is not a lower class hotel. Clean .friendly cheap.excellent evening menue well cooked. Also able to purchase exceptional quality wine that doesn't break the bank .free wify . Parking. Only 3 hrs from Bilbao . Will return .
This hotel is exceptionally clean and the rooms have all been refurbished to a very high standard. The bar downstairs is genuine Spanish as is the restaurant. Superb place to stay and explore the town.
