The location is amazing. Reading reviews we were expecting a filthy hovel and unhelpful staff. But actually the volunteers were lovely and it was pretty clean. It is as you'd expect for a hostel. Good and cheap bar too.

There was a lovely patio which provided a needed shade in a warm day. Both the bedroom and bathroom were equipped with everything needed. We self-checked in without any problems, which was convenient as we came quite late afternoon. There were packed waters and fruits prepared for our disposal.

Horst and Ernesto are amazing hosts -- they really made me feel at home. Everything was taken care of (extra water, blankets, flexible meal time, tea) and they were so kind to pick me up from the bus stop. This has become my newest favorite retreat. Will definitely come back!

The view was amazing. The most excellent part was - there were no surrounding neighborhood - just you and the mountains! The property is really good - we were there during the rather cold period but it wasn't a problem - the chalet has well operated heating system. There is a really nice well kept garden with lemon and avocado trees, palms... .
