We changed to a different apartment due to problems with the door opening. This was arranged with good communication from the owner the day before we arrived. It was a very quirky and unique apartment that we loved! Tastefully decorated. Good outside terrace with shaded table area and sunloungers to relax. A great space for our dog to enjoy too! Very spacious, huge bed. Good communication with host.

We came to Cariñena and Tierra de Cubas not for the wine, but to witness the total solar eclipse. It’s a shame we didn’t have a chance to try the wine as well, but we had to leave early. The rooms are located above the winery, on higher ground, and the views from the windows are beautiful, overlooking distant Cariñena and the mountains in the background. We watched the eclipse right outside the hotel (see photo). You need to come by car and eat breakfast and dinner in the nearby town. It was not a disadvantage for us at all. The area is very quiet. Great place to relax for a day or two while driving around Aragon.

Hotel Marivella in Calatayud is a fantastic find, especially if you're traveling through the area. The location has a lovely rural feel while still being conveniently close to the motorway, making it an easy stopover. Friendly and helpful staff throughout. One of the biggest pluses is having a café, bar, and restaurant all on-site, meaning you can settle in and enjoy everything you need without having to venture back out. A comfortable and practical choice that I'd happily recommend.

Beautiful interior. Excellent value for money. There are a lot of bad reviews out there. No idea why. They seem a bit suspicious to me. Nothing bad to say about the room and the look of the hotel. I didnt try anything else but very happy with my brief stay.

This is not a lower class hotel. Clean .friendly cheap.excellent evening menue well cooked. Also able to purchase exceptional quality wine that doesn't break the bank .free wify . Parking. Only 3 hrs from Bilbao . Will return .
