The property was a clean, well maintained historic reflection of the past. It is located close to the ferry. The staff was very welcoming, and friendly. There were many choices for breakfast and it was delicious. There was a sauna on the property which we enjoyed.

Lovely cabins at a great location in Sottunga. The owners were amazing and so accommodating! Home-made breakfast served every morning was also lovely! I can only recommend to stay here if you are coming to visit Åland.

This was a beautiful property right on the water. The whole place was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The staff really went above & beyond to make the stay great. The Filipino food served in the restaurant was also a really welcome treat.

The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the hosts – Cony and Veronica. They were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful; nothing was too much trouble, even as they were busy preparing for a major open farm event. Their two children were also exceptionally polite and friendly. Sommarö Stugor is something of a hidden gem, and we felt so lucky it wasn’t already booked—was perfect for exploring the island and the surrounding areas. Cony and Veronica also shared some fantastic tips that really helped us make the most of our stay.

It is a small pearl in the middle of Baltic see. It keeps its charm and traditions. Its nature and by the continent ice carved rocks is unique and magnificent. It is a paradise to bicycle around with little car traffic. There is service (shop, restaurant, museums etc) and you can even buy farm products (egs etc) along the road by just putting the money in a container.

Very nice cottage at the end of the road, undisturbed location. Dock with ladder into the water. Fairly well-equipped kitchen, the water in the tap is not drinkable. We found out the day before, a 5-liter can of water was included, the rest we brought from home. I have advised the cottage owner about some small improvements that would make the cottage even better.

There wasn't a lot to do, but the sea and nature were more than enough - especially since we had such nice weather. Good service in Degerby; there was a well-stocked grocery store, ice cream, fishmonger and two restaurants. However, it lacked a cozy café with homemade coffee. A small disadvantage was that the ferry across cost 24 euros for a single ticket, which meant that we stayed on the island the whole time. Good roads to cycle on, though.

Nothing for the typical tourist, who wants sights and a little action. But there is a beautiful church on the island. Incredibly relaxing and peaceful. There is a grocery store and gas station on the island. We also saw several bus stops, so there is probably a bus too. Don't hesitate to drive onto the small gravel roads, they usually end at a beautiful marina or swimming area. Nice bike paths.
