Just a beautiful location and house. We just wish that we could've stayed longer in order to enjoy the surroundings more. We had just finished up a week long photo tour where our group stayed in a cabin near the the Ruka Village. The hosts were great in staying in contact with us from the moment we booked the house. The road, driveway, walkways were all cleared of snow before we arrived. It made a great impression.

Nice cabin by the lake which has all facilities of a modern house. We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. The cottage itself is very spacious and nicely decorated, and the host was very friendly. This cabin is part of a complex that consists of multiple cabins, all by the lake, but the cabins are distanced from eachother, so it is very peaceful. The cabin is situated about 25 min drive from the city Kusamo where you can find a big shopping center. In this area there are numerous beautiful lakes and hikes. Would highly reccomend this place for a nice and peaceful vacation.

My daughter loved interacting with the animals and helping with the feedings. Breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended. Hope to return in the winter someday to see the northern lights in this remote setting.
