Surrounded by lakes and close to both sights, beaches and city shopping, is the hotel Vammalan Seurahuone, conveniently located in the center of Sastamala. A quiet room (and yet the pub was downstairs!) larger than we had expected, and not run-of-the-mill. Old-fashioned comfort. A small but adequate and "fresh" breakfast, that had not been waiting hours for us.

The surroundings are breathtaking, you can really disconnect from the city noise and walk around. The host, Anja, is really warm and close. Always willing to help you if you need it. The house had a box with toys that our 10 months old baby enjoyed so much, and Anja asked several times if there was anything else we might need. The house is wonderful, clean, and really comfortable, with everything you might need, you even have coffee, tea, and local honey. As a plus, all the products there are ecological or 100% natural, which was a great surprise for us.

Located right by Vammala Station, Liekoranta B&B is within 20 minutes’ walk of central Sastamala. Dating back to 1901, it offers breakfast, free WiFi and parking. The hotel is very charming. Information was provided very clearly and way ahead of time. The room and bathroom were very clean, spotless. Dont expect a fancy big chain hotel, but a charming small local business, and you will not be disappointed.
