Lovely place. Fantastic location with plenty of activities on site. Off the beaten track surrounded by pine forests and lakes. Buffet food was amazing.

Glass igloos were right choice because three days in a row we were watching Aurora from our bed. There is also frozen lake right next to us with no people around and no light so watching Aurora was amazing. Apartment is modern, clean, warm, we had a great time. Breakfast was served night before for tomorrow and it was really good Hosts are helpful and very polite Overall we had a great time and i would absolutely recommend this property

The cabin was very cosy and perfectly equipped with everything one might need. Comfortable bed, clean and tidy. We enjoyed the chimney and sauna, but also the wonderful views on the lake.

It was a super nice stay at the Sonka Mirror House with Lake View! We were picked up at Rovaniemi by a car shuttle and the driver even waited patiently while we tried to find the right parking lot. In the car even was a welcome snack box for us. The house was very narrow but the furniture, the electronic devices and everything were very good. The panorama window was really cool. We had cloudy weather so we couldn't see any northern lights. But this was fine as we had a 3 hour private time slot (!) for sauna AND (cosy warm!) hot tub. The sauna is very new, very beatiful and the perfect heat and view! Afterwards we loved to watch movies on the projector screen. The breakfast in beautifully decorated baskets were delicious. All the staff and especially the drivers were very friendly. It was a wonderful stay with a cosy evening and a nice start in the day! We think of going to Sonka again one day!!

Staying at Raisa and Kalle’s cottage north-west of Rovaniemi was an absolutely magical experience. The property is modern, clean and well equipped. Watching the aurora borealis from bed was incredible, we had our own private sauna which was just perfect after a cold day out exploring Rovaniemi and surrounds. Raisa and Kalle are fantastic hosts, always willing to help plan our days and make sure we had everything we needed at the cottage. Onnela Homestay was easy enough to get to via car or bus, and has a grocery store less than 10 minutes drive away. Make sure to bring some marshmallows to roast on the open fire in the lean-to, and cross your fingers for the aurora to shine overhead!

Juha-Pekka made our stay extremely comfortable. The cottage was perfectly equipped with all the facilities according to our needs. It was new and modern cottage, beautifully located on the riverbank with stunning view. We were very lucky to witness the Northern Lights on both nights which made our stay truly magical. We stayed for 02 days and enjoyed every moment. This was definitely one of our best memories and we will surely come back again. Thank you for the great hospitality. Both Juha and Sari made our stay very comfortable and they shared the history of Finland with us. I would highly recommend this as one of the best places to stay in Rovaniemi.

Amazing!!! Beautiful place in the most amazing location. The lake right outside was frozen during our stay in March and the children and us loved it for walking adventures. It is great for viewing the northern lights from. The host Pia is amazing and has a wonderful reindeer place to visit close by. You can also walk to the ice hotel. Wonderful holiday :)
