The hotel was clean and well located in Torshavn. An easy walk to restaurants and other amenities. The hotel has a good breakfast which can be busy if a tour group is staying at hotel, but the food, etc. is refreshed often. We had an issue with our room and once the owner/manager was made aware, it was taken care of quickly.

The room is quite basic, but it is spacious, comfortable and in a very good location. I appreciated the communication with the reception before I arrived because I would have a late check-in and at that time the reception would be closed. But no problem, everything worked well. The breakfast (at the hotel with the same name) is quite good too.
Featuring mountain views, Light & spacious home in Tórshavn provides accommodations, a garden, and a shared lounge. There's a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay....

Very cute old town, good food, friendly people, cool harbor.
Very cute old town, good food, friendly people, cool harbor. What isn't to like about Torshavn? Perhaps the weather, it is grey, cool, and wet even in July. If you want to escape summer heat, or just visit the edge of the world, this is a great place.

Torshavn is the capital city of the Faroe Islands but do not consider as a big city. The population is only 13000. This a peaceful place without any heavy traffic. Local people friendly and helpful and speak English! You can find loads of activities for yourself and your family.

Small harbour town with restaurants and pubs.
Small harbour town with restaurants and pubs. It is not a shopping town. There are some shops and a "small" mall a bit out of the centre of the town.
However the oldest part of the town is very beautiful (but also pretty little)
Good restaurants where we were in Torshavn.

A very cosy, picturesque small town with very friendly and easy going people. All red buses (within the municipality of Torshavn) are free. Very easy to travel around to see some of the surrounding areas, i.e. Kyrkjebøur. A lovely park just north of the centre. You don´t need more than a couple of days to see the town, but recommend to book an island full day guided tour to see some spectacular scenery. Also recommend a trip out of Torshavn on your own and take the ferry to the island of Nólsoy just oposite Torshavn. Go for a walk to the northern tip and have a meal and a drink or two at Maggies café.

Compact, some areas of interest in quite small areas.
Compact, some areas of interest in quite small areas. Eating out seems to finish at 9.30 (last orders earlier). Supermarkets - two I think - open until 11pm. One craft beer bar and two other drinking establishments. Free buses around the town. Fish & Chip shop advertises on line as open until 11pm but shuts by 10! Ferry service to other islands as well as Denmark & Iceland. Paname cafe is good as is advertised. No alcohol sold for take out other than at Oy brewery and a liquor shop not far from it. Fish meals also available at the brewery! Supermarkets don't sell alcohol.

Our stay was complicated by the ongoing strike which was having a significant effect, but people went out of their was to make our stay a success. Torshavn is not a great place for vegetarians with very limited choices, and unfortunately most restaurants had set menus with no a la carte. We went at the end of May, and as well as everything being shut on Sundays many bars were also shut on Monday and Tuesdays.
The apartment was better than expected. Very cosy and felt spacious. Although it was pouring rain and windy outside - it was always warm even on minimal settings. There was everything what is needed in the bath and from kitchen appliances. The beer and chocolates as a welcome were a huge plus after a long day travelling to the Faroe Islands. There were even earplugs near the beds - you could hear sometimes the neighbours laughing in the evening, but eventually it was quiet enough and we never needed them.
This is a beautiful small hotel within easy walking distance of Torshavn town and harbour. We couldn’t have had better service, including accommodating us at very short notice when we realised we had to leave our ferry from Iceland at 3am on our motorbike. The rooms were not massive but well presented and comfortable. The garden area had comfy seating and the hot tub was lovely. Breakfast was very good and service even better. We can only say thankyou off a fab stay.
Great hotel in heart of Torshavn. Happy hour with glass of wine makes a difference ! Breakfast is just amazing, lots of different food and drinks. Also restaurant is very good. We stayed in small double room which was literally small. The price was good so nothing to complain about. Room had all we needed. I do recommend this place
A well-planned and spacious apartment in the center of Torshavn. The host was very friendly and welcoming - the whole process went really smooth. Wifi was working great and the apartment had all the necessities you could ask for. Great stay!
The reception service worked quite well.
The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of things to pick from.
The room was cozy, and the location of the hotel was perfectly central in Torshavn.
