I had a great stay in the small town of Annot. Unfortunately I only was able to communicate with the owner in written (text messages) but everything went extremely good. I got the door code and found the room key easily. The rooms is lovely and you see that the owner cares about how everyhting looks like. For that price the room was also very big and the couch was perfect for the rainy afternoon that I had after the hike to the big sandstones (Gres d'Annot). There is not much to do in the town and the restaurant options are limited but it is definitely worth to stay for one or two nights and do the hike. The house is on the main road through the town but it was still not loud.
