The location was absolutely beautiful peaceful out in the country. It was a fantastic time. I was not able to stay the entire time, but Geraldine was so nice and understanding. I was so go and stay there again!

I liked the quality of the property, the comfort, the quietness of the room. I scheduled my stay for the end of a hectic week of travel from Geneva to Chamonix, to Annecy, and then to Port Lesney to rest and relax before returning home. Happily my stay with you filled the bill!

Location and building - truly amazing to be staying in...

Location and building - truly amazing to be staying in Ledoux's masterpiece. We loved exploring the site. The on-site cafe was great for breakfast (very plentiful, fresh and delicious) and for aperitifs and we found two good restaurants within walking distance (the Bar 1718 over the road, and the extremely good restaurant in the Relais down the road).

The site of an old, very beautifully built, sprawling factory is not a place you expect a hotel. It is a museum (and UNESCO world heritage) and as it closes at 18:00 the grounds stay open for the guests. Wandering around is a real treat. The hotel rooms have been put into some the workers quarters and are quite well done.

The accommodation is in an amazing grand set of buildings that’s a UNESCO site. Totally unique and quirky place to stay but not really a hotel. There are large gardens around the outside which you can use during the evening for a picnic when the site is closed to save driving out to find a restaurant.
