Quaint hotel in a small pretty visit about 15 mins from the motorway. Sort of place you expect from Logis De France. Hotel has started refurbishing rooms and the decoration had only just been finished in ours

Lovely location. Large comfortable bed. Air conditioned room. Excellent food and excellent service. Staff very helpful and friendly. Convenient for visiting Beaune, chateaux of Burgundy. Lots of great vineyards nearby.

Hostellerie du Val d’Or is a hidden gem. Full of charm and great atmosphere. The room beautiful and very pleasant. The restaurant excellent. The owner and the staff are professional in a personal and welcoming manner. The breakfast delicious. We will be back.

This outbuilding to a chateau is as cute as a button, with lovely lavender surrounds (look for the tiny hummingbirds), a reasonably functional if quite out-of-date kitchen and all en-suite bedrooms -- bathrooms without doors, however, so couples take note. It also has ample parking for more than one car and quick 15 minute access to Beaune, which was the centre of most of our activities.

We were the only guests thus had the place to ourselves. Garage covered parking available.
