Great location just outside the old center where many good restaurants are found and conveniently located across the road from public parking (free at night). Friendly and efficient staff. Wide, comfortable bed. Our room on the 4th floor was quiet even though it faced a busy road.

Really cute boutique hotel with a nice restaurant. The room was very clean, comfortable, and modernized. The location was perfect for visiting Brive, as it is located just inside the old city. Cafes, bars, restaurants all within a short walk. Parking was possible on site (€8/night), but the two lots were small and may fill up quickly. A large lot and garage is available not far away towards the river, if needed.

lovely renovation of this hotel - gorgeous place to stay!
We had an enforced stop because our car broke down.
We had an enforced stop because our car broke down. We ended up in the town for 10 days, staying first in a hotel and then an apartment in the city centre. We walked everywhere and saw all the sights offered at this time of the year. A weekend stay is not recommended as many restaurants and shops and places of interest are shut on Sunday and Monday. It is a lovely medieval town full of shops, restaurants and cafes. I recommend the Kitty cafe is you like cats. There are several chocolate shops and one chocolate factory. The museum Labenche is very good and the Mortlake Tapestries are exceptional. If you have a car there are a lot of places to visit nearby. In fine weather lots of walks near the city.

A great little city with lots to do and see. We took a guided tour of the Denoix distillery which was excellent. A visit to the open market for duck and local produce is recommended. And dinner or lunch at the Gueuleton restaurant was just perfect if your a big meat lover!

I paid for an upgraded room which I did not get. The room I did get was dirty and not a pleasant smell. There is nothing favourite about this hotel - I did not like it and would not stay there again. Little choice in meals in the restaurant - no vegetarian option - and a flea on the table.
On my next visit I would avoid this hotel completely

Brive came over as an archetypal French Town that had its old town in the centre with great shops bars and restaurants. Very clean and very friendly. A day is all you would need to do everything but that was the charm

Charming town. Very few tourists.
Charming town. Very few tourists. Lots of nice restaurants and a wonderful Saturday market with fresh local foods. Very family oriented town; most things (except the churches & rugby) are closed Sunday. Museums don’t offer English translations. Try to catch a rugby match and root on the home team, CA Brive!

Very attractive building opposite the railway station. Newly refurbished rooms. We stayed in a suite which was very spacious, clean, well equipped and excellent value for money.
Convenient, reasonably priced parking at the station opposite.
The hotel restaurant was good.
This is an old fashioned French hotel and like many it takes you back in time, the old fashioned wallpaper the small shower / bathroom and a bed like granny's, loved it. The location couldn't have been better.
Beautiful boutique hotel, tastefully renovated chateau, good location just outside of the centre of town set in mature garden, best sleep on fast trip north through Europe. Would absolutely recommend 👌
