A true gem in the middle of nowhere, yet close to all places you would want to visit in the provence/cote d'azure area. If you visit the 3rd weekend of may it's the perfect places to visit the Fete du fromage in Banon. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the restaurant is one of the best in the region featuring local produce combined with family style love and hospitality. 10/10!

As a couple, we were guests at a wedding 3.5km away at Clos du Tuilier from Friday to Monday and were looking for a nice retreat between the festivities. We found this at Nathalie and Marc's La Halte Gourmande! The hosts were incredibly friendly and reliable in their communication and planning of our stay, answering all our questions and being flexible with the check-in (we only arrived at 9pm due to a late flight). The accommodation is located in a small village on one of the highest points, so you have a beautiful view when sitting on the terrace or relaxing by the pool. The room had a beautiful large bathroom with plenty of storage space, a good hairdryer, and a nice shower, which was perfect for getting ready for the wedding. The room itself was clean and had a spacious wardrobe; moreover, you could access the garden directly from the terrace door, which also leads to the pool. It was wonderful and quiet; we slept very well on the bed. We had the pool almost to ourselves because there is not much going on thanks to the few rooms. Every morning we get a sweet breakfast on the terrace with croissants and fresh bread, homemade jam, and juices. In the evening, we had the pleasure to have Marc, that is a professional cook, to make dinner for us and it was delicious! We thank you for the lovely experience and absolutely recommend La Halte Gourmande!
