Staying at Château de Contay was a wonderful experience, and we’d love to return. Communication with Nicolas was excellent, and Anne, who welcomed us, is an exceptionally kind and remarkable person. The breakfast was fantastic — especially the delicious apple juice, which you can even buy from a local vending machine to take home.

The friendly atmosphere and really helpful host. We had issues with the motorbike and as a real motorcycle enthusiast he provided us with tools and spare bolts and nuts. Being a Ducati 996 owner he was used to having spare parts available ;-) The food was excellent and the chef waited with serving till we were finished with the motorbike.

Excellent host, charming location, very well decorated room and breakfast room. Very quiet surrounding. Ideal for a short hike or a cycling tour. Overall very high quality.

Location very good for visiting the War sites in the area. Outdoor area at rear of property had seating and also a hot tub,. There was a pool but it was not available during our stay.

Beautiful and cozy apartment, pleasant and friendly host. It looks exactly like the photos, and everything has been recently renovated with taste and high-quality materials. The kitchen, although we didn't use it, is equipped with everything you need.

Perfect rooms. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, and complete with a kettle and tea bags. Annie was helpful, and a wealth of knowledge about the local area. Also very helpful with letting us put food and ice blocks in the fridge/freezer. Perfect communications
