A wonderfully French experience, both in terms of the breakfast and the position of hte hotel. Set high above Savernne this hotel is the perfect place for peace, solitude coupled with modern, clean bedrooms. The staff are both competent in their duties and extremely polite and friendly. From the arrival to the departure we felt totally welcome. The food at this hotel is absolutely exquisite. French cuisine at its best. 5-* food. The ambience is best witnessed yourself. A glass of local wine, sitting on the terrace overlooking the landscape surrounding Savernne. Need that quiet break, with all the 'French Feeling', then THIS is your hotel.

This is a beautiful boutique / rustic style hotel . There are so many little ‘extra’ touches that make the guest feel at home . The staff were very helpful - we arrived after the pool closing time and they still said we could use the outside pool which was so appreciated . We changed part of our booking which again was no trouble at all . Breakfast was wonderful . It’s s lovely , peaceful laid back hotel and we will definitely return . ThAnkyou

It is a fantastic hotel, the owner is such an indearing woman and is absolutely perfect for the job, the hotel has a seating and a table on another floor, the shower and the bed was perfect and the atmosphere so good. Our bicycles were also stored safely. The breakfast was very good and the soup the evening before very tasty .Marmoutier is, apart from its abbey not really on the tourist track but not far from Saverne. The experience to stay in a real French hotel was unforgettable
