The hotel exceeded our expectations. The venue is beautiful. We ate a delicious dinner on a terrace above the old town watching the sun go down over the whole town. Breakfast was lovely, and also served in those beautiful surroundings. The pool is beautiful, we had it to ourselves. There was nothing not to like at this hotel and I recommend it highly.

The hotel building, grounds and location are stunning, set in the hills overlooking olive groves and miles of countryside. Our double room was simply furnished, clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We had a lovely view from the window, which had both a fly screen and electric shutter. There was safe parking inside the gated property for our motorcycle. We had a lovely walled courtyard garden to relax in, just outside our door. The swimming pool and other courtyards and terraces were beautiful. The hills and surrounding area is paradise for walkers and experienced motorcyclists. The owner is extremely kind and helpful, as is his wife who prepares the excellent evening meals. We tried both the lamb and the chicken tagine and they were both delicious, the flavours of these dishes, which are simply served, would rival top restaurants. We enjoyed our time so much that we booked for 1 night and extended to 3 nights. Just an amazing place to relax and great value for money.

Faucon was a nice quiet little village to be situated in.

Faucon was a nice quiet little village to be situated in. Very small and very quaint. It wasn’t necessarily a destination. There’s a lovely little lingerie in the center of the village and the dandelion restaurant was excellent. The food was delicious and there were a lot of local people dining. This was also a very nice place to be based in to do day trips in this surrounding area.

Nice place at a great location.

Nice place at a great location. All the small towns around, beyond the large tourist places are charming. Recommendations: have breakfast at Boulangerie des Tilleuls and dinner at Le Dandelion, both in Faucon. Also recommended the Le Girocedre in Puymeras, but don't order fish...
