Located inside a gated farm style property in a small quiet and charming town with wide countryside views. We drove in and parked our car next to the rooms. The only sounds were the church bells and a very distant train that we only noticed at breakfast on the terrace. Greeted by a smiling woman whose name we did not get, one sweet dog and two friendly cats, we were felt immediately welcome. The ‘family room’ up one flight of wide stone steps was spacious and light, with a double bed and some singles. The bathroom was large and bright too. Both rooms had opening windows. We were given access to a charming spacious dining space on the ground level but we ordered breakfast outside on the terrace. It was delightful with a range of breads, pastries and jams, juice and coffee, and we ordered eggs too. All delicious. And we bought some lovely fig jam to take home.

Steph and family were just lovely - very welcoming and easy to chat to with both sides stretching our Franglais to the limits. I was even invited to join the family for an evening meal which I see from another review is not unusual for Steph. The accommodation was perfect, quiet, private and perfectly laid out and parking is off the road, right beside the house. This is out of town a bit so you will need to have your own transport.

Laurent was an excellent host. Very welcoming and informed about Beaujolais. The property is very special historically and cast in the local 'golden stone' with fine ambience. Our room was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was comprehensive and very tasty. There is a spacious outdoor area with a wide view into vineyards and Beaujolais. An added bonus was the pool and boules area. Highly recommend!

An amazing, peaceful stay surrounded by nature and birdsong. Our host, Emmanuel, was incredibly friendly and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable, and we loved the homemade jams and yogurt at breakfast. The perfect place to feel at peace—highly recommended!
