Located in the center of Montgenèvre, close to the church, Chalet Saint Bernard is facing the ski slopes and is just 230 feet from the ski elevators. Guests can enjoy the south-facing terrace. We had a delightful stay here over New Year’s. The location was fantastic; it is directly across the street from the ski slope and it is a few steps from the Main Street with many restaurants and shops. There are ski lockers to store skis. The owner puts a lot of effort into giving the place a comfortable family home feeling. The rooms are well laid out for a family and are well organized to accommodate all the ski gear. The bathrooms are very modern and the water is nice and hot. The breakfast is a nice continental style selection of pastries, fruit, cereals, ham, cheese, yogurt, nuts and homemade fresh jams. The coffee machine is available all day.

Many families visiting Montgenèvre loved staying at Le Chalet Blanc Hôtel & Spa, Hôtel Alpis Cottia, and Chalet Saint Bernard.
Great ski town for beginners through to advanced. My 17 year old daughter noted the lack of apres ski for her age group, and I noted the lack of open fires to warm feet at when coming off the slopes. We also found it a bit difficult to find bars/restaurants on the slopes.
perfect small resort with great lifts and variety in the area. Hotels and apartments to cater for all needs. Such great value cost for a lift pass too when considering skiing for a whole week. Only 1hr 20 from Turin and an easy drive too. Easy to get around and great places to eat and drink too
An excellent family resort. Plenty of cruising reds with a gradient that challenges intermediate skiers to improve their technique. Nothing is very far away from you in the resort and local bars provide good hospitality. It's a shame there aren't more mountain cafes scattered around.
One of the best ski resorts. It is not a fancy Meritxell o Chamonix but you have it all. Good and long ski runs. Good mix of black, red and blues. Village is small and manageable with good offer of bars and restaurants. Every year it improves and this was our 8th year. There is a luck of luxurious chalets and properties but what is on offer is really good. Plus is that you can ski on French and Italian side if snow good!
Second time in Montgenevre and absolutely love it. The weather is always sunny and there is a wide range of slopes for all abilities, the long green run was a particular favourite for me as a novice skier. Plenty of blacks and reds for more expert skiers like my partner. The scenery is stunning love it here. Recommend a ride on the Monty Express too, great fun. Recommend Caesars, lovely little French restaurant and Le Graal for the live music on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Very family orientated resort very close to the pistes. Best place to eat was Caesar's for value where you probably need to reserve a table. Did excellent three course lunch and dinner menu for set price. Easy to get around Montgenevre and within walking distance of Claviere.
Great location - right in the heart of the action in Montgenevre! Despite being on one of the main roads, the appartment was surprisingly very quiet. The appartment benefots from a big, sunny terrace with a view to the mountains. Excellent communication and availability of the staff before and during the trip.
nice small family owned hotel for super fair price on the top of Montgenevre pass with excellent restaurant. easy handling, parking for free, shops nearby, very close to visit Besancon. rooms with wooden interior, clean and comfortable. little day light (one small window) but not relevamt for us.
The hotel itself is fantastic, the location very quiet (during low season) and the staff was extremely friendly, professional and kind. The room was big enough, stylish clean and comfortable, the outside balcony and terrace were just a plus
The location, the Spa, the staff, the restaurant, the design and decoration of the hotel, the locker rooms with direct access outside.
Location very close to skilift Breakfast was complete and good tasting Room was overall comfortable, in particular the bed.
