AustraliaThe hosts were so friendly and helpful and a great location, 3 minutes walk to the Amphitheatre.
We are cycling down the Rhone on EV 17 ,and this was the best hotel we have stayed at, great bicycle storage ,nice fresh rooms and Roman even suggested some local rides we did ( without the panniers) which were great.
It was so good we stayed an extra day.

United KingdomA little difficult to find even though the hotel is situated just off the main street. Great reception staff who showed me to the secure parking for our motorbike.
The staff were so helpful and friendly. We did not eat in the restaurant in the evening, but we did have breakfast the next day which was delicious and plentiful.

NetherlandsVery Nice staff, small and friendly hotel, you can even have a simple dinner until 22:30 and the rooms are nice and clean. also the gate closes overnight which is a nice safety measure. if you want to leave early you can ask the staff and they will help with it!

I have been to many cities and towns in Provence and Orange...
I have been to many cities and towns in Provence and Orange is nice, but limited. The big draw was the opera in the roman amphitheater. As a step off point for seeing other things in Provence, it is wonderful. Don't expect tons of gourmet restaurants, but it works.

Orange is a small town with a lot of history.
Orange is a small town with a lot of history. It's small but a great location to get to other places in the area. If you prefer somewhere quiet, with great restaurants instead of the hustle and bustle of a bigger town/city, Orange is definitely the place for you.

I drove down from the Marne valley and this was as far as I wanted to drive in one day! Orange is a delightful little town with Roman theatre the main attraction, but I used it as a base to visit Mont Ventoux (Tom Simpson memorial), Avignon, Arles, Camargue and Pont du Gard - all easily reached by car. Quieter than the main Provence towns but with nice restaurants and cafes so was very happy with it as a base for 3 days. Favourite lunch spot was the Brasserie du Mule du Pape in Chateauneuf du Pape.

Train into Avignon takes only 15 minutes (don’t bother w car!) and a 15-20 minute drive gets you to several of the best wine production towns in France w many tasting options. The city itself is very stylish and relaxed w excellent restaurants. The Roman amphitheatre is still in use w world class performances.

A small compact tourist area which is easily visited in one day. A good centre to operate from to visit Avignon, the Gorges and the vinyards of Chateauneuf du Pape. The Roman theatre is a wonderful place to enjoy a concert... but take a cushion if sitting on the concrete benches... and if necessary waterproofs. The charge for entry to the theatre and museum is excessive as there is very litle to see other than the wall of the stage.

Parking was quite difficult in Orange and you need to pay in the centre. The surrounding areas are absolutely stunning and well worth visiting especially the Gorge de la Nesque, Gorge du Verdun and of course the drive up to Mount Ventoux. The wine region is one of our favourites and there are many fantastic villages to see such as Gordes, Rousillon and L'isle sur la Sorgue (arrive early to find good parking)

The hotel is in an excellent position to visit the centre of Orange. The staff has been very kind, offered us a room upgrade and some suggestions to things to do around. We appreciated the l’occitane courtesy products in the room. The hotel has private parking with only a few spaces, but the receptionist has been so kind to suggest other perfect options not too far from the hotel.

The house was very tastefully renovated. We loved the period furniture. The bedrooms were light and airy and the beds comfortable. Great location close to the supermarket and all the delights of Orange’s old city. Our bicycles were securely stored and the entry/exit procedures efficient a well spelt out.

Very nice hosts, we really felt warmly welcome ! The apartment is perfectly positioned in Orange. Close the the center of the city, close to the railway station, very quiet, great outdoors …we had a great time at Michael’s place!

Have used B and B a lot. Very convenient to find, especially in Orange. Rooms big and comfortable. Dog friendly. Breakfast very good. Secure parking.
