Breakfast was exceptional. The manager was attentive, helpful and friendly. The quality of the French style was wonderful. I loved all the sparkling chandeliers and decor. The approach to the chateau was impressing. I quite appreciated the time spent away from the phone and computer.

Been here a number of times so knew what to expect, creaky floorboards and all. Nothing changes. Parking outside the hotel was easy. We were here at the beginning of July and most restaurants were closed for their holidays so it’s worth checking.

Good location near the river. Comfy rooms...we booked for 3 nights then stayed for a week, tho had to change rooms which they managed efficiently. A fan made for a good night's sleep despite summer heat. Good choice at breakfast. Very pleasant stay. Car parking at the rear.

A lovely old farmhouse , with many period features , The rooms took me straight back to my own childhood , The owners were helpfull and very friendly , i loved the quirkiness of the turn of last century decor in the rooms , brilliant The breakfast was mostly homegrown products by the lady and her homemade Jams and bread etc with coffee and tea and orange juice , very filling , this place has lots of outdoor space with mature trees and quaint buildings
