Five star stay at Bedrock, started with our check-in when Debbie gave us a map of Ipoh and told us where to go and where to eat both during the day and evening. We followed her recommendations and had a fantastic time. The staff were super friendly and the suite we had was amazing. Highly recommended for a stay in Ipoh.

For me, Ipoh is a nostaligic town, a place where I was born...

For me, Ipoh is a nostaligic town, a place where I was born and grew up. There is the new and the old town area; and famous for its eatery shops. It's obviously much cheaper than KL. There are interesting places to visit in Ipoh; depending on your liking. 2/3 nights was enough stay for me and move on to other towns. Do enjoy yourself in Ipoh!

Lots to see, do and eat. Many excellent food outlets. Heritage architecture has been mostly well-preserved and still in use. Ipoh makes for a good base to visit nearby small towns and explore outdoor attractions. Road maintenance could do with improvement.

Ipoh is a less touristy/quieter version of Georgetown, Penang. It has similar architecture and look/feel. Lots to do eg Temples, Mosques, Lakes, Ipoh Old Town, Concubine Lane etc. (just Google top ten things to do in Ipoh). Ipoh is famous for its white coffee, and great food. (Although it doesn't rival Penang when it comes to food) The people are very friendly and welcoming, and the pace of life is slow. I definitely want to go back sometime.

It's a bustling town with a modern set up yet it manage to retain the old tradisional sides and places.Plenty of restorans and other eatery to choose from. The Tambun theme park is a must visit.Chinese Muslim Restoran..Hj Shahrin Low served excellent dinner.For mamak style food go to Kedai kopi Yong Shuan...there's Mangei .

Modern hotel in new town. We had a standard twin and it was very small for 2 people. Not much space so we didn’t bother unpacking!. Noisy toilet cistern. But safety deposit, mini fridge, good AC and wifi, and shower good. Clean too. Staff pleasant and helpful. It’s a bit far out from the few sights there are in Ipoh, and if you are walking in the sweltering heat, you might want something closer to the old town. However the hotel is clean, with pleasant staff and the breakfast was okay.

Had a great stay in Ipoh. The hotel felt very clean and new, which made a strong first impression. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. Breakfast offered a good selection of food, though the air-conditioning in the dining area was a very cold. The location was convenient, with an easy walk into town, making it simple to explore the area. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great front desk staff who were extremely professional and provided great advice on the best places to eat. Hotel is surrounded by local restaurants and about a 10-15 minute walk to the old town, where most of what you will want to see is located. Nice room and bathroom, large comfortable bed and not too much noise from the street. This is definitely my go-to hotel if I am ever back in Ipoh.

Once you enter the property, you will be greeted with perfumed scent which was nice. The interior of the hotel looks classy. Loved the room as they were so big (we got the concept room) and it has free access to the lounge, which we enjoyed. The hotel was connected to Ipoh parade, and nearby Ipoh Old Town. It was about 10mins to the airport which was very convenient for us.
