Very glad that our host was expecting us when we called the number posted outside the apartment complex. He was trying to call me on my US number which didn't have service in France. We were using a French number in France which I didn't have when I originally booked the room so I'm glad we could connect at the predetermined time.

He walked up to the bus station to receive us. His dogs are very friendly too. Not only the house was great, but also the backyard had a swing for my kid and a hammock. The kitchen was well stocked. The rooms were clean, spacious and well lit. The best thing for us (as we weren't travelling by car) is that the Le Sept bus stop - L'espedes was very close (half a minute by walk). Alain, thank you for your hospitality. We would love to stay at this place again.

The owner was great at suggesting things for us to do and the place was very well run. Only 4 apartments so nice and calm, with everything you'd need in the apartment. Fabulous location - Ruoms is charming with good restaurants and everything in walking distance from the Clos. There's also lots to do in the surrounding area if you have a car.

We booked 2 self catering gites for a family celebration. One had aircon which was wonderful. We bought fans from the nearby supermarket for the other. They were needed as it was exceptionally hot 38 / 39C while we were there. The gites are modern and well set up with everything you need. There are washing machines available on site. The swimming pool is excellent, as was the play area for children. It is in a good location and it is an easy walk into town when it is cool. An excellent supermarket is two minutes drive away. All the delights of the area are within an easy drive. There were evening events if you wished to take part and a fabulous BBQ and disco once a week. They know how to party! The hosts/owners were very friendly and helpful.
