This property was amazing for my family of 4. Plenty of space to run around and explore outside, a cool pool to relax in after a fun day of adventures, and a spacious house with all the bells and whistles to unwind and settle in for the night.

Very friendly hosts. Also speak English. Pet friendly. Near Verteuil-sur-Charente, a charming village with nice restaurants. Near canoe rentals, awesome for families. (Take the long option and picnic on the way!) Breakfast was fine but continental will never match English breakfast ;)

Going to look at castles are cool but staying in one is even better… but can’t I keep it a secret? The host was very sweet, the breakfast delightful, the ambience put you back in a different place in time, the restaurant recommendation also excellent. It had a private feel about it, which was nice and romantic.
