Beautiful setting right on the river and easy parking opposite. The host was so welcoming and was happy to offer a very delicious menu even though we were later than the serving time advertised . We ate on the terrace which was picturesque The food was exceptional as was the breakfast Bedroom was very clean and comfortable - would very highly recommend

Trôo is a charming village with spectacular views over the...

Trôo is a charming village with spectacular views over the valley. There are two very good restaurants in the town. Although the walk up to the church from the village centre is quite steep the view from the top is worth it. You can also drive up to the top with plenty parking spaces. Trôo is an ideal base to explore the area.

Beautiful grounds. Very nice room. Good breakfast. Right next to a n old railway track which is now a walking and cycling route. Market days in Montoire, Saturday and Wednesday. No mosquitos🤙 No duvet which considering how hot it was, definitely a bonus. 2 sisters and their husbands run this place. Very congenial There are 3 local eating places. 2 are an easy walk, the third more difficult to find but the one we preferred called le quinquette des lies de Troo.

Lovely quiet location in Troo, peaceful grounds and the pool was lovely to cool off in! Our hosts were wonderful and despite only being open a short while were very accommodating and the breakfast was one of the best we have had on our trip!
