The staff is so super friendly and helpful! That was definitely the highlight of our stay. Besides that we had a room on the ground floor, which means you have direct access to the lovely garden. The beds were also very comfortable! And I liked that it's a bit away from the busyness of Nice, but still everything that you could need is within walking distance. I would definitely return.

Virginia was always available for any help or doubts and always with a smile and very kind with the guests. The location is great, specially if you are going with your car. The hotel has a lot of personality and very confortable. We definitely are going to repeat a next time.

Everything was perfect. Located in the heart of Vence this beautiful house turned into a hotel has so much character with all modern facilities. The pool is so well appointed that you have spacious areas to relax. The bar and cocktails were fantastic. We had a beautiful room with the view to the sea and the Baoux. The staff can’t do enough for you and so friendly. We will return for sure.

I loved this rather old-fashioned hotel with spacious air-conditioned rooms, super little balconies, and a pool really meant for swimming -- no shallow end! Set on the steep hill leading up to the fabulous little town of Vence, it has its own back-door route into town via a tiered garden. Vence has art, architecture, atmosphere and excellent food. It's much more real than the nearby, outstandingly touristy Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Public transport is very good and the owners who have had the hotel in the family since it was built in the early 1980s are a mine of local knowledge.

Very good location with real good spa possibilities, 10 min walk to Vence nice restaurants and shops, small hotel: it means you really can be alone and read a book outside in super garden, you don´t see so many people, very quiet, lots of sunbeds, great pools and reading places. that was great!

Breakfast was fantastic The setting of the hotel was beautiful and the art throughout the exterior and interior was amazing

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the pool area was absolutely idyllic. I highly recommend reserving a table at the restaurant in advance if you want dinner, as it was fully booked during our stay and we only managed to enjoy lunch there. Most of the guests were couples, but the atmosphere was still family‑friendly, and our two children, ages 3 and 6, were perfectly happy here.

Warm welcome by the general manager, Sébastien. Since the location is a bit tricky, the hotel helped me with the taxi. The hotel itself is a historic building, beautiful and classy. If you prefer the formal, traditional hospitality, there is something for you. The staff would basically recognise your face and provide the service without asking which room number you are in.

What a lovely hotel and Michelin restaurant. The staff were fabulous, courteous and everything was a pleasure. We were upgraded to a junior suite - lovely big room with couch area and a wee terrace. Luxurious. Food and wine were delicious- breakfast was a treat ! Location great for Maeght Foundation. Dog made very welcome. What a special treat for us.
