RussiaIts a nice small hotel in the old town. We came back very late and the kitchen at the restaurant was closed but girl at the reception asked chief to prepare cold plates for us. We had an amazing rooms for one family, it was very comfortable. The french breakfast was tasty. I will definitely come back.

The French Riviera (or Côte d'Azur) boasts mountain backdrops, beautiful beaches and palm-lined promenades. It’s a year-round favourite of artists and celebrities - maybe the reason why, of French Riviera hotels, 5-star properties are high in number.
Several are in exclusive Saint Tropez with its pristine beach and marina full of expensive yachts. Boats cross the bay’s turquoise waters to the Blue Flag beaches of Sainte Maxime, and Port Grimaud, overlooked by Grimaud castle.
Le Lavandou has a wonderful beach and marina, while Fréjus has a waterpark, and neighbouring Saint Raphaël’s promenade and coastline are dominated by the Esterel Massif. Famous for its glitzy film festival, Cannes spans a wide bay and has designer shops and grand villas. Protected by a sea wall to the east, Antibes has a Picasso museum in its castle.
Nice is the Riviera’s largest city and Nice Airport is France’s 3rd busiest. Known for the Promenade des Anglais and large squares, it houses most Cote d’Azur hotels on the beach on Booking.com. Next door Villefranche-sur-Mer has brightly coloured façades at the water’s edge and is separated by a promontory from dramatically located Beaulieu-sur-Mer.
The region’s most easterly town is Menton, at the foot of the Alps, while glamorous Monaco is home to an F1 Grand Prix, and a world-famous casino and royal family.

Well, the reception was wonderful, kind and always smiling regarding the property. We did like the possibility of jumping not far from there on a boat, which would take you to Saint Trope so in one way you have a boat trip as well :)

The room with a view was breathtaking, as was the pool and restaurant, the service was really lovely. The room was spacious and clean. A great location to get to nearby attractions, without being in the hustle and bustle.

I loved Nice.
I loved Nice. Yes there are a lot of tourists in the old town but there are lots of locals too. There are restaurants to suit taste and budgets and the beach was fabulous. The water is warm and clear. We travelled around town on foot, bus and tram and visited Antibes by train. Everything ran on time and there were no issues. I am only back a few days ago and I have booked a return in 2027.

When visiting a country or a city, my first impression is always based on its cleanliness. Cannes is relatively clean, which is not a surprise because they do have cleaners throughout the day. The transport is affordable. If you like beaches, they have it, although I did not find the sea clean for a swimming purpose. I like the promenade along the beach and the shops where you could get something if you have the means of course. What I find sad in Cannes was that the restaurants have extremely high prices for foods. Thus, for me Cannes is not the right place to go if you want to go to a restaurant and can't afford it. Hotels are also quite expensive for my taste.

I honestly have no words to express how much I loved Antibes. It was far beyond my expectations a beautiful place with friendly people, a wonderful atmosphere, and so many things to see and do. I highly recommend visiting Antibes and exploring the French Riviera. I had an amazing experience and I’m sure I’ll be back again soon!

The town streets are free of litter and every street is beautiful… lovely boutique shops, an abundance of quaint restaurants. It is a happy decadent space full of excited people.
Nothing is cheap, but everything is of good quality.
The Saturday/Tuesday market is AMAZING. Good quality items & food. Not a “made in China” market.
There are a couple of free public beaches, otherwise the beach clubs….. which are very difficult to contact to reserve a beach day….I would advise booking beach club days before you arrive! For a short stay I would say minimum four nights, a week is a good timespan.
Traffic is horrendous… I would not recommend a hired car. Rather walk, Bolt, hire a scooter.

I don't know why Booking.com lists places like Le Dramont under Saint Raphael. It's not fair to us as customers. Although it is in the municipality of Saint Raphael, It is far from the city center. Booking needs to to get this right. The resort town of Saint Raphael and the municipality are two totally different things. Try not to dupe your customers next time.

We enjoyed watching the boats in the marina the best - they were setting up for an Ocean 50+ sailing race. The walks along the coastline go for as long as you like - in either direction.
The old town was small, shops were nice. Ferry ride to St Tropez a must so, though note we went in April so no crowds.
We had a kitchen so we only went out to dinner once. Le Jardin - it was wonderful. Jacques our host at Villa les Cades made the reservations for us!!!

Firstly, Grimaud and Port of Grimaud are two different...
Firstly, Grimaud and Port of Grimaud are two different settlements and both are worth visiting. The views of the bay from Grimaud fortress are stunning and the village itself is very beautiful. If we had more time in the area, we would have returned for a dinner in one of the restaurants.

We loved being surrounded by local French people on their holidays. The one place we visited where we did not hear an English accent in the whole time we were there. Everything was within walking distance unless you wanted to go to a nearby beach in which case the Petite Train is perfect. Loved Le Lavandou,
