United KingdomBrundall House is a superb home from home. Excellent facilities, comfortable and very spacious accommodation. Off road parking. Close to the delights of Norfolk, we did not really know what was in the area but leaflets and information in the house enabled us to chose outings and we were never stuck for somewhere to go, eg boat trips, steam trains, the coast and countryside, National Trust properties, great RSPB and Norfolk wetlands sites for smashing walks.

Perfect communication with hosts and really made you feel very welcome with lovely personal touches. It is in a great location to discover all that the broads have to offer. Wonderful little village with various types of shops...
Wonderful little village with various types of shops including a fantastic butchers. Literally 20-minute walk via walkway from the cottage. Lovely little cottage right beside acle station with trains running between Norwich and Great Yarmouth. Never really notice the trains coming in and out of the station when you're in the cottage. Owner lives next door which is a great bonus if you're in need of anything.
Overall a very quirky interesting place to stay. Exceptionally clean well maintained accommodation with all mod cons. Perfect place to use as a base and even better if you don't wish to drive your car because you have use of the station.
Will definitely go back there is nothing to dislike.

Acle has got a co-op and a nearby petrol station.
Acle has got a co-op and a nearby petrol station. We ate at The Acle |Bridge, which was good. We didn't really explore the town, but it's in a good location for the coast (Yarmouth) and Norwich - around a half hour drive to each. Also for the Broads.

Hermitage Pub exceptional for dinner as was the Acle Bridge pub the following evening. A very good base for travellers in this area of the country wanting to visit the broads and surrounding areas
