This was honestly the sweetest and coziest hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything felt so warm, heartfelt, and atmospheric — like stepping into the pages of a book about English countryside life. The staff were incredibly polite, kind, and helpful, and made us feel truly welcome. I especially want to mention the delicious breakfasts with their beautiful presentation, and the lovely room with the fireplace, where it felt absolutely perfect to sit with a cup of tea. A truly charming and soulful place. I would be very happy to come back.

Loved the Stag at Stow, the old hotel was well-fitted out and we loved our suite. The food was unbelievable and being in the little town of Stow on the Wold was very special, walking the little town after exploring the Cotswold.

During my stay at Number Four at Stow Hotel, I was particularly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff, especially Jonathan. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests, making our experience truly memorable. The room was impressively spacious, offering ample space to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. It was immaculately clean, reflecting the hotel’s high standards of hygiene and comfort. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The quality of the food was outstanding, providing a perfect start to our days. The hotel’s location is another significant advantage. Situated in the very center of the Cotswolds, it served as an ideal base for visiting the surrounding picturesque villages. Overall, Number Four at Stow Hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore the Cotswolds.

The property was very charming and well located. The rooms are very nice and well appointed, and the room and bathroom were spotless. We were a little disappointed in the view from our room initially (all first floor rooms look out over the roof, but some rooms (40/41) are much better than others (44)), but the staff were incredibly nice and even showed us other rooms to pick from! The breakfast was amazing, and great vegetarian options as well. Would definitely stay here again. Secure, free parking at the back of the hotel is a bonus! Just drive down the backstreet until you see a sign posted for the hotel (it’s farther than you think).

A typical Cotswalds Inn. Great pub. Room and bath very comfortable. Away from traffic noise (although front of property is on very busy street). Excellent restaurant food and service. Moreton is not a tourist magnet, but is the GWR train stop for the Cotswalds. The station is 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Very professional service given, loved the overall character...

Very professional service given, loved the overall character of the property, being a small working farm only added to the character. My party of three adults and one 8 year old child fell in love with the short holiday let. Only wished we could have stayed much longer, but be rest assured I’ll be back in due course.
