The Angel is always first class and outstanding! The staff are amazing, and the food is first-rate. This was my third time staying there, and it never failed to impress. A beautiful hotel steeped in atmosphere and history.

The location was excellent. The room was larger than other rooms with beautiful Furnishings. The bed was absolutely brilliant and so big. The breakfast was everything we wished for. Will certainly stay there again. Staff was very helpful.

What a gem! A beautiful, characterful old pub, very comfortable rooms with very friendly staff and a fabulous restaurant (evening meal was superb as was breakfast). I will definitely be staying here when I am next in the area.

Fantastic accommodation. Rooms in the roof are fantastic.

Fantastic accommodation. Rooms in the roof are fantastic. Loads of old beams and quirky corners. Surrounding village is not big but very pretty and it has a fantastic pub that does a wonderful Sunday roast. Allington Manor is a must to stay at.

Excellent historic property in a great location, the Lords...

Excellent historic property in a great location, the Lords and lady's rooms were excellent. Great friendly host and lovely breakfast. We were there for business, but it would be great for an explore of the area and the beautiful local villages.

The hotel itself was in a fantastic location, very peaceful and was a lovely village. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect and quaint with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was lovely and served very quickly and fresh as well. Would definitely recommend to stay for a relaxing weekend away and me and my partner are now looking at booking again.

Superb property in a delightful village. Bed was very comfortable, and all facilities were very good. Breakfast was very good as well. The owners made us very welcome and were happy to assist in any way. Although Allington Manor does not serve dinner, the Welby Arms pub is just 200 metres walk, and does good pub food.

Allington Manor is a charming country house set in beautiful surroundings with a lovely garden , very quiet yet only minutes from the A1. We were made to feel very welcome, the breakfast was delicious , and the characterful bedroom and en-suite delightful.
