The Angel is always first class and outstanding! The staff are amazing, and the food is first-rate. This was my third time staying there, and it never failed to impress. A beautiful hotel steeped in atmosphere and history.

We had a great stay at Belton Woods meeting with friends as it was a mid-way point. The hotel is gorgeous & the pool was great, especially for kids (you just need to know the hours), we had a lovely meal, Indie was so accomodating as we had 4 children under 5 & provided such good service. Everyone loved it, great family rooms.

The hotel was situated perfectly, it was walking distance from Grantham Town centre but yet far enough away not to hear any noise at night. We stayed from a Friday night to a Sunday. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They have a nice little bar that's cosy and friendly. We didn't eat there as food is only available during the week, this isn't a problem either as there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Breakfast is available if you require it. The room was cosy and warm. The beds were lovely and comfortable. We had 2 single beds. The bathroom was clean, and there was plenty of hot water and towels.

Staff were so nice, Martin from the front desk, in particular, as he lent us his plug to charge our phones and in the morning Martin came to the rescue again when our tyre was flat and Martin came with a tyre pump and pumped it up for us. Excellent service and bed was so comfortable…… directed to a lovely restaurant Millar and Carter. Would definitely recommend a stay here to anyone

Fantastic accommodation. Rooms in the roof are fantastic.

Fantastic accommodation. Rooms in the roof are fantastic. Loads of old beams and quirky corners. Surrounding village is not big but very pretty and it has a fantastic pub that does a wonderful Sunday roast. Allington Manor is a must to stay at.

Excellent historic property in a great location, the Lords...

Excellent historic property in a great location, the Lords and lady's rooms were excellent. Great friendly host and lovely breakfast. We were there for business, but it would be great for an explore of the area and the beautiful local villages.

Excellent hosts provided a superb one nights stay at Allington. We went for supper at the pub opposite which was excellent, when we returned Leo served us drinks in the lounge and got the wood burner going. The choice of drinks in the small lovely bar was superb. The breakfast was simply amazing, excellent produce cooked and served so well. Coffee also excellent. Very good parking and the building looks fantastic.

The hotel itself was in a fantastic location, very peaceful and was a lovely village. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect and quaint with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was lovely and served very quickly and fresh as well. Would definitely recommend to stay for a relaxing weekend away and me and my partner are now looking at booking again.

Allington Manor is a charming country house set in beautiful surroundings with a lovely garden , very quiet yet only minutes from the A1. We were made to feel very welcome, the breakfast was delicious , and the characterful bedroom and en-suite delightful.
