The property is in a very quiet location, but is easily accessible from Plymouth via the ferry. Our room was well equipped with everything that we needed.Despite the room being above the pub, it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great - we had the Sunday Roast when we arrived and then a cooked breakfast the next morning.

All was well, good location but bit difficult to find.

The rooms were fresh and cosy with lots of thoughtful touches. Lovely linen and toiletries. It was great to be so close to all the restaurants and areas to explore

We loved the under bed lighting that turns on when you need to visit the toilet during the night, it helps guide you there and back and then turns off, very good.

What an amazing hotel. Beautifully renovated to retain the original Victorian vibe. The room was excellent with an amazing large bath! I didn’t think Plymouth would have much happening in winter on a weeknight but I found Macro Pierre’s Steakhouse.

Everything. Yes it's old decor but the fitness area sauna steam room plungepool gym are outstanding this world. The staff are really happy and helpful

Great hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a lot better than expected. Built in casting in TV so can cast programmes etc from phone/tablet. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Plymouth.

Breakfast was excellent with good selection

The staff were friendly and helpful to the max. Breakfast had hot and cold offerings, including a wonderful fruit salad. The Imperial was a short walk to the Hoe; a slightly longer walk to downtown Plymouth. The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot and strong.

Staff were fantastic. Location was ideal for all aspects of Plymouth. Food in the restaurant was excellent as were the views from the penthouse.
