We had a fantastic stay, everything was spotlessly clean and well cared for. The host had left a lovely welcome treat of sweets and fresh fruit in the kitchen on arrival, which was such a nice touch. The little garden was absolutely beautiful and a great spot to relax. A truly comfortable and welcoming place, highly recommended!

A property of remarkable charm, quietly set on its own private island. The Hilltop cottage offers a splendid outlook and every modern comfort. Breakfast is superb, featuring thoughtfully sourced, top‑quality ingredients. Fine dining at the Main House Restaurant is faultless, both in execution and service, supported by a well‑considered wine list. The Deck restaurant is a very pleasant spot for an informal dinner. The staff are polished, warm and consistently attentive. A fair and fitting price for a property of this standard. We shall certainly return.

The location of the hotel is beautiful. The morning walk was incredible and the view of the lighthouse was almost too pretty to be true. We would all have loved to stay one more night.

The Old Shed is cosy and charming. The decoration is well-done indeed. The deck is particularly pleasant. The garden is fenced which is good for the dog. The location is very peaceful.

We chose Appin because we like the area for kayaking, fishing and walking. There are some nice places to eat near by. We can highly recommend The Old Inn which is a 5 min drive from the apartment. Specialises in steak however other meat and veg options are available. Food and service were superb. Port Appin is nearby and The Pierhouse Restaurant is also wonderful. Both places are dog friendly too.

An awesome B&B run by a gregarious Scot with beautiful view and wonderful breakfast. Well stocked room snacks and French Press coffee to enjoy before breakfast. No constructive criticism. Highly recommend this facility.

The view is amazing! Really amazing!

The view is amazing! Really amazing! The Rooms are clean, comfy and large with good quality linens and comfy large beds. The breakfast is very good indeed. The host is really helpful and friendly and gives great service. Nearby there is The Old Inn which is great for evening meals, but needs to be booked ahead. There are various cafes along the road and in Glencoe.

Our holiday intentions were to paddle board the loch and this place did not disappoint. Great views and easy access to the loch. The lodge has a balcony on two sides which we used to dry our gear for the next day. Walks around the property and nearby nature reserve on an evening, and a pub serving good food just along the road. We are already considering a return, it was that good. Highly recommend a stay here.

I've travelled over the west coast of Scotland many times over the years for work and leisure purposes . The most recent years was on motorbike tours basing ourselves in Oban. I always liked the coastal road from Oban, through Appin towards Glencoe . I remembered thinking what a great place to base ourselves for a outdoor holiday. There is so many local activities available to keep yourself busy but you really need a car. The Creagan Inn was our local and was so welcoming and the food was fantastic.
