The hosts were very kind and gave us some advice about visiting the area. They provided a welcome pack with lots of pastries and other food. The location is very quiet, and there's a pleasant 30-minute walk along the coast from the property, where a castle can be seen.

The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The location was good for us as we went to Lismore for the day on the ferry and also walked to Castle Stalker. Abi was very helpful and we loved the fruit, granola, milk, bread and tea bags etc that had been left for us. I would love to stay in the apartment again.

One of the highlights of our entire trip: from the start, Mike made us feel so welcome and at home. Breakfast was amazing, Mike even took his time to book us a restaurant for dinner, and gave us recommendations for restaurants and the area. The rooms are generous and inviting for short and long stays. It's not your run of the mill hotel, the rooms and common area really tell a story of someone putting actual care and their heart into it. It's a pity we had so many things to see that we honestly didn't get to spend enough time listening to Mike's stories, reading out on the balcony, or just relaxing on one of the (by accident) two huge beds in our room. We could not recommend a stay at Appin Bay View enough, and will definitely come back. Thanks for everything Mike, and see you around.
