This huge private estate has an historical building at its center. Broome Park is a relaxing resort with modern log cabins, fine dining, indoor swimming and golf. They could have charged us another $200 and we still would have stayed here. I felt like a character in Downton Abbey. The staff was friendly, great sense of humor, available all the time. Breakfast was completely anazing! You dine in the same room the Earl did a hundred years ago. Totally completed our UK trip. Staff. Food. Views. The home itself. Our room. The sense of humor everywhere. All amazing!

Pretty little village off the A2 really convenient for a stay before or after ferry trip if you don’t want to stay in Dover....not huge amount to do there but relax and go for nice walks and admire the cute houses

I found the community shop to be modern and charming in...
I found the community shop to be modern and charming in equal measures. Very enterprising of the village. Next door was the village hall and right next to that the lawn bowls greens! It was a wow moment for me, memories of childhood flooded back. All that was missing was a band stand!! I ate at the pub on the road to the church the duke of Cumberland and the food was really really good. The staff attentive and value perfect. Personally I didn’t look for activities locally because I had a course to go to.

We all agreed that had we known how pleasant our stay was going to be, we would have booked in for longer. What makes the place more interesting is the ability to cater for individuals and groups of all ages; the space of Broome Park created a welcome ambience for each of the visitors we observed whilst there.

Had a lovely time.
Had a lovely time. Enjoyed the golfing and tennis. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved our lodge, was so comfy and homely, very comfy beds. In easy reach of Canterbury. We had dinner at Ambrette restaurant and it was such a great experience, lovely food and relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely recommend it.

The parking at the lodges was too far , I hurt my knee...
The parking at the lodges was too far , I hurt my knee slipping in the marquee toilet that evening so walking back to the lodge was very painful , I asked stAff if I could get a golf trolley to drop me off but was declined ! Very disappointed ' ruined the stay really !
