Loved staying here, very welcoming staff who couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful rustic features. Large and well presented bedroom and private bathroom with all amenities we could need. Bar area was lovely with lots of choices. Location is only a few minutes from local shops and the stunning Berkeley Castle. Breakfast was perfect. We had the full English breakfast, tea, and juice. In addition, we had the options of cereals and other items. There were no limitations of one choice or the other. Plenty of parking and area felt very safe. Thank you team x

The hotel was clean, comfortable and well equipped, the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was convenient, it was less than 5 minutes off junction 14 of the M5. We would definitely stay there again. It is also dog friendly.

We booked the hotel for a Wedding taking place nearby.

We booked the hotel for a Wedding taking place nearby. They accommodated an early check without any issues, the room was great, inc all required amenities, comfortable beds, onsite parking is an asset, the staff were absolutely lovely and the breakfast truly dealt with our hangover. A great stay

Open plan two very comfortable bedrooms very clean well equipped kitchen. If I were to be very critical would prefer walk in shower instead of in the bath as in our 80’s but we all coped very well. Would stay again in a heartbeat

We chose Berkeley because it was just a short drive from...

We chose Berkeley because it was just a short drive from Slimbridge, so it was very convenient. Getting to Gloucester is also easy and this is well worth a visit for the Cathedral, shops and plenty of cafes and restaurants. Around the docks is very interesting and there is the Outlet Centre there. As it was winter and the Castle was not open we did not visit Berkeley Castle but in the summer this would also be on the list of attractions.

The property was easily accessed and had excellent parking. The location was excellent for our purposes which was a wedding at Berkeley Castle. The facilities were excellent with all possible equipment provided. The bed was very comfortable. The cottage was well heated. Upon arrival a bottle of Prosecco and scones with jam and clotted cream were available together with fresh milk and orange juice. There was plenty of tea, coffee and sugar for a weekend. Altogether we would highly recommend and would use again.

Staff, manager made our stay. Very lively and friendly. She happened to be serving at dinner time which was a treat. Helpful with suggestions for Slimming World friendly options at dinner time and emailed menu in advance. Lots of choice for dinner, down to earth, generous portions and good value. Bed was comfortable. Lovely to have a bath, plenty of hot water. Plenty of parking. Very convenient for Berkeley Castle and walking around the village.

Excellent Hotel and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The Hotel is beautiful, love its character, location is on point and the staff were just awesome. Even the locals in the pub were very friendly. Onsite parking is really helpful. Nice English breakfast to deal with the hangover. I really cannot fault anything. Highly recommended.
