Just a 15-minute walk from Kidderminster town center, the hotel is set on the A456, within easy reach of many local attractions, including West Midlands Safari Park and Severn Valley Railway. The river Severn at the heart of Bewdley and Wribbenhall is a wonderful backdrop for a lovely Georgian town. The interesting town museum (free), its Jubilee Park and the magnificent Severn Valley Railway serve the town well as do many of its fine restaurants. I tried and loved The Rajah, the Junction and the Thai Restaurant above Merchants Fish Bar on this trip and none disappointed. I have also dined very well elsewhere in the town in previous years. The Wyre Forest nearby provides excellent walking country. The Safari Park is a short car journey out of the town though I have not been there, it is not my sort of thing. For those with grittier tastes, the excellent Black Country Museum in Dudley and the equally splendid Dudley Canal Tunnel are less than twenty miles away.
Lovely location for the Severn Valley - access to lovely riverside walks and the steam railway - good local pubs and restaurants - you don't have to go far for other attractions such as Bridgnorth or Arley or the Forest Centre
We loved Bewdley. Lovely location by the river. We particularly enjoyed an Indian meal at the Severn Indian restaurant - good food and service and excellent value. Very good museums, Arts & Crafts and a quirky antique shop. Good pubs and restaurants. A noisy pub by the bridge in evenings which spoilt things a bit. Walking out at night, particularly weekends a bit unnerving. Daytime it is very nice.
We had an on-suite room. Nice and clean. with an excellent view of the Severn Valley steam trains, I loved it and look forward to my next visit. The landlord was very friendly and efficient and served up and excellent breakfast in the morning.
All the staff were friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was wonderful. The hotel was easy to find and there was ample free parking. The hotel location was perfect for our visit to West Midlands Safari Park.
Bewdley is a picturesque town with lots to do. There's the Severn Valley Railway; lovely walks along the river; West Midlands Safari Park - as a 50 year old adult, I thought it was great. Bewdley museum is interesting - worth an hour. I want to go back, since there is a company that does canoe trips from Bridgnorth to Bewdley. The town is clean and tidy. Oh and feeding the ducks on the River Severn is an enjoyable 10 minutes.

What a gem of a place! Nothing was too much trouble, very friendly and helpful staff. We have a large, over-friendly GSD/Lab dog, who made friends with everyone, and was accepted by all. The bar area is big enough to allow dog owners to have their pets beside them, whilst eating. (Food is amazing!) We nearly got snowed in, had a very snowy dog to dry after an early morning walk, but the pool table area is great for doing this! Bed was comfortable, room toasty warm, lovely bathroom. And we even managed to get out and home safely!

It's comfortable, plenty of space - you could easily have 3 or 4 people staying. Kitchen facilities really good. Great location right on the high street for pubs, river etc. Quite noisy from traffic and Bewdley nightlife. Iron and ironing board provided when I requested beforehand.
