The room was lovely. Very clean. I had dinner and it was lovely. The staff was brilliant, attentive but not overbearing, friendly and explained the menu. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delish. They let me keep my bike in the pool room overnight. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Hospitality at its best. Thank you!

Nesting by the River Severn in the picturesque town of Bewdley, the 4-star Mug House Inn and Restaurant is thought to have been opened in the 17th Century and retains many period features. The room was warm and right temperature on arrival. Staff helpful polite and welcoming. Our room was over looking the river very nice. Added bonus of fresh milk plus bottled water still and sparkling in a fridge ( very quiet). The best bed ever even beat a premier inn bed.We didn't eat there on this occasion but have eaten here in previous visits to bewdley . Will definitely be using mug house for future stays .

With picturesque views over the Severn Valley, Worralls Grove Guest Farm House is located on the River Severn, amid the beautiful Worcestershire countryside. Fantastic, secluded location with spectacular view across River Severn, with steam trains passing beyond Room would be better described as a suite, with bedroom and sitting room and terrace to enjoy the above view Great walk-in shower and other facilities Charming and helpful host Pub up the road with great food
Lovely walks by the river. Great places to eat - especially The Mug House, which is just along from the bridge, beside the river. Fantastic food, all home cooked and served by lovely people. Great pub with dining.
The historic buildings, the museum was extremely interesting telling the story of Bewdley, and the food at the museum was excellent. The park in the middle of the town is beautiful and you can see all of the interesting backs of the historic houses from the park. If you’re interested in history, buy Fenella Flack’s book on Bewdley walks from the museum, it takes you on short walks around the town explaining the history of the historic houses including who lived there in past times.
A lovely clean town, pretty buildings, and a lovely walk along the river. Lots of cafes and bars for food and snacks. Close to the Severn Valley Railway, and Bewdley Museum is well worth a visit, and also has free entry.
An attractive historic Georgian town centre on the side of the River Severn. It's fairly small and compact although some of the Western side is a bit hilly. There is a good selection of quality pubs (the Great Western and the Bewdley Brewery Tap are worth finding) and restaurants (The Courtyard and Mug House are both good value and friendly) available. It's a good base if you wish to travel on the Severn Valley Steam Railway or visit the West Midlands Safari Park.
I have always viewed The Midlands as a place to pass through fast on my way from North to South. Not any longer! My short break centred on Bewdley showed me a lush countryside not unlike Devon but without the overwhelming traffic. It was truly an epiphany. A plentiful selection of National Trust and English Heritage stately homes and estates was an unexpected bonus. I will definitely be back for more.
A beautiful place with lovely shops and plenty of restaurants and bars. A great museum and Jubilee Gardens. Not enough time could have stayed longer. Would love to come back and explore from this base
The house was lovely, very well put together, clean, warm and welcoming. It is in a perfect location in Bewdley, this is my first time visiting this area and I have fallen in love with the charm of it. I had a great night sleep, the beds and pillows are comfy and the towels lovely and soft. There is information in the house with recommendations, we had a lovely Indian and then we popped into the pub on the way home where they had a live band. The locals were friendly and welcoming.

Excellent location with friendly hosts, tucked away near the centre of Bewdley and next to the river which makes a lovely evening walk. The apartment was well furnished, comfortable and clean with a separate kitchen area and bathroom, a nice touch was the bottle of milk left in the fridge.
