Set in Biddenden, The Three Chimneys Country Pub features a restaurant, bar, garden, and free WiFi. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The inn offers a terrace. Perfect mix of old (600 year old pub) and new (accommodation). Friendly staff, great food (evenings in the restaurant and breakfast), lovely room, very clean, very quiet, value for money is spot on, really good. We’ve been stopping at various pubs and hotels in Kent for over 30 years and we’ve never been here before and I must say it’s one of the best places to stay in the county.
King Hotel Tenterden in High Halden provides accommodations with a restaurant, a bar and a garden. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The rooms in the hotel are fitted with a kettle. It was a privilege to be the first ever guests staying at this stunning hotel. We was greeted by the manager Raja on arrival and showed to our room. The room was spotless, the shower had great power and the bed was a dream sleep. We visited the famous Bangladeshi & Indian restaurant next door ‘The Raja of Kent’ the food was delicious and the staff was amazing. Jags couldn’t have done more for us! We highly recommend this peaceful, friendly, quality break in Kent which is great value for money and there is plenty of free parking. We have enjoyed ourselves so much we was sad to leave! We will definitely be returning in the near future and recommending to family and friends :) From Micky & Hayley
The London Beach Country Hotel & Golf Club is set in beautiful parkland, 1 mi from the market town of Tenterden. Guests at the London Beach are 15 minutes’ drive from Rye and beautiful coastline. Tracy and her team are delightful. A well run and safe hotel We will return. Our dog was made most welcome too.
Set in Sissinghurst, 14 mi from Maidstone, Sissinghurst Castle Farmhouse offers a bar and free WiFi. I am pleased to report that our bedroom was lovely, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud and all the facilities were top quality. The afternoon tea and breakfast were exceptional. A lot of love and thought has been put into all aspects of this beautiful place with things like board games and an honesty bar. The perfect base to get out and explore the surrounding countryside. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
Located in Tenterden in the Kent region, Potts Farm features a garden. The accommodations is 27 mi from Canterbury, and guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. This was our second stay and the property was just as good as the first time. Its location is so peaceful but still within easy reach of Tenterden town centre, either by car or on foot. There are plenty of other interesting places to visit nearby and the seaside is only about 20 miles away. Great for walking or sightseeing.
The Three Chimneys was just outside the pretty village of Biddenden so we didn't spend much time in Biddenden itself. The nearby vineyard was worth a visit and there are many interesting places within easy reach of Biddenden. We had an enjoyable drink in the quaint Red Lion pub in the village.
We liked the room and the bathroom but not the fact that the latter was separate. The breakfast was one of the finest ever and we travel a lot. I do not want to simply repeat information given elsewhere. So need to focus on getting to Bressendon BB. Recommend not to use the route up through Benenden if travelling from Hastings direction. Instead use the A28 to Tenterden and then let a Sat Nav guide the rest of the route. We followed our Sat Nav along single track lanes and it was fraught with possibilities of meeting oncoming traffic.
Love the locality , the villages , architecture ,scenery access to various facilities. Train station only 5 minutes drive away for direct access to London . Tenterden , Headcorn ,Bodiam castle , Leeds castles and Rye among many places within easy reach .
We visited Biddenden Vineyard to purchase cider. We enjoyed drinking and eating in The Red Lion at Biddenden - booking advisable. Great food, very hot and generous portions. A very kind friendly landlord.
Biddenden has a number of old houses in the main street. Situated in an area where these's a lot to see, e.g. Sissinghurst Gardens and Tenterden. Two steam railways in the neighbourhood (Bluebell Line and Kent & East Sussex Light Railway) Great walks to be made in the neighbourhood.
