Great central location, yet very quiet thanks to double glazing. Beautiful Art Deco design with highly professional staff. The room is well-equipped with a kettle, tea, a coffee machine, and coffee. Friendly helpful staff, ideal location for work trip, unfortunately arriving late and early start so no time to eat but have stayed on few occasions and food has always been great. Although a G&T was enjoyed very much. Plenty of space to park near entrance. Will stay again.

The extreme proximity to the airport makes it invaluable if you land late in the evening or have an early morning departure. My room was comfortable, and despite the road adjacent to the inn, I slept quite well. The breakfast was excellent, not included in the room price but available at a reasonable cost. You can also enjoy a great dinner in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

FAQs about hotels in Bristol

From Brunel to Banksy!

Britain’s 4th most popular visitor destination, Bristol boasts Brunel’s magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge spanning the River Avon. More Brunel handiwork is in the harbour where his SS Great Britain steamship is moored. Pirate walks here detail the city’s underground naval history.

Further north in Clifton is the world’s oldest zoo outside a capital city. Other Bristol attractions include At-Bristol Museum and the Grade I-listed Corn Exchange with its 4 "nails" outside where money changed hands. Also worth a visit is St Nicholas Market, in a Georgian square home to several bars and a Slow Food Market on the 1st Sunday of every month. Other Bristol shopping options include shopping centres at Cabot Circus, and Cribbs Causeway on the outskirts.

As a student city, Bristol really comes to life after dark. The live music scene here is fantastic and has given way to several internationally known bands, but for something more alternative head to Eastside.

Another option for alternative-seekers is the work of hometown street artists Banksy. Just like Booking.com’s Bristol accommodation, his work is spread throughout this fabulous city.

This Gateway to the West Country is served by Bristol Airport and Temple Meads train station. The old Bristol to Bath railway line is now a cycle route and makes a great day trip.

I was visiting the City for a concert at the Lloyds Ampitheatre, which was an amazing venue. I loved exploring the Waterfront area and recommend taking a boat trip and visiting the SS Great Brittain. I missed out on the Ardman exhibition at the Museum as you need to book a slot in advance. The cathedral was also spectacular. I didn't have time to explore all the city, so need to return. I was a solo traveller & felt very safe & found everyone friendly and helpful.

Bristol has everything for entertainment, eating, tourism...

Bristol has everything for entertainment, eating, tourism and residents. Shame about the emission charge . I am not coming again just because of that charge. The bus lanes are confusing for strangers coming up too quickly to change lanes without an accident. Traffic jams galore. Drug deals in full view, addicts asking for money. A UK Government and Police problem not just Bristol. Bus service unbelievably good, other towns take note and follow Bristol example. Parks good. M32 very convenient. Trains go everywhere easy links good stations to link up. Litter bins everywhere which is good considering towns in Wales are reducing their's to save money. What is that about ? Shops everywhere you can buy paint or sit down for a meal at 3am Every major brand and every Nationality provided.

Nice location away from the bustle of the city centre, you can park easily outside the cottage. It has everything you need. We were there for a family funeral and we were able to hire two cottages next door to each other, we were travelling with two elderly people one was 102, so this was perfect and accessible . I’m so glad I chose these cottages over a hotel, it was cheaper and better for a big family or friends, it would be perfect for a break away in Bristol in the summer too.
