Strong wifi signal throughout the room. Rich breakfast, though it's basically the same every day. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Location is perfect for seeing and experiencing Bristol, which, in my opinion, is much nicer option than staying in Bath if you are visiting this part of England.

On the tree-lined Welsh Back waterfront, this 4-star boutique hotel overlooks the River Avon and historic Bristol Bridge. It features a restaurant, bar and conference rooms. Very good location. The hotel is just in front of river. The room is not big but very comfortable and the bath room is nice and big. They have a shower room separated from a bathtub. I had a bad cold when I got there and needed to more sleep to continue my trip. I asked the hotel I needed to stay a couple of hours longer than their check out time. They admitted it and they charged only ten pounds for over stay. It was a very generous treatment.

Kom skemmtilega á óvart. Hreinni borg enn ég átti von á. Mikið að skoða á stuttum tíma. Strætósamgöngur hefðu mátt vera betri fyrir ferðamenn. Stundum töluverður gangur frá strætó að því sem við heimsóttum og skoðuðum. Ekki alveg fyrir ferðalanga sem eiga erfitt með gang. Enn alveg til í að fara aftur og ráðlegg öðrum að vanda valið á hvar þeir dvelja, ef treyst á strætósamgöngur. Get mælt með veitingastöðunum í Cabot Circus.

Gott að vera í Bristol miðbænum, mikið að gerast þarna yfir daginn og gott að borða, stórir veralunarkjarnar, Cabot Circus, Primark, House of frasers sem er í Cabot Circus, Bristol Shopping Galleries og margar verslunargötur inn á milli gatna. Draugagangan var skemmtileg, mæli með henni. Okkur langar að skoða meira og munum koma fljótt aftur. Mælum með þessum stað. Kara og Bogga

Gaman að ganga um gamla bæinn, borðuðum á El Grill & Bar...
Gaman að ganga um gamla bæinn, borðuðum á El Grill & Bar, TGI Fridays og Express pizza. Besti maturinn var á TGI Fridays. Hreinlæti var ábótavant á El Grill & Bar og TGI Fridays meðan allt var tandurhreint á Express Pizza. Gengum alltaf um og ekki reyndi á að ferðast um nema þegar við tókum Bus til Bath, það gekk mjög vel og Bath er frábær viðbót við Bristol. Við hefðum heimsótt fleiri staði t.d. dýragarðinn ef ekki væri nóvember og rigning. Miðbærinn var innan seilingar og mjög þægilegt að geta keypt nokkrar jólagjafir.

Bristol er snyrtileg borg og fólkið er einstaklega almennilegt. Gott er að versla á Broadmead, Cabot Circus og Galleries. Matur er mjög góður, borðuðum t.d á Beefeater sem er alveg hægt að mæla með.

I was a little worried about road noise when we arrived but it was absolutely fine. The pub is really nice with a great selection of drinks and meals, and it's close to bus stops for getting into town.
