The Dunollie Hotel has views across the sea to Loch Kishorn and the Applecross Hills. There is complimentary WiFi available in the lounge. Great location right on the water with beautiful views On site bar where you can dine with your dog Good value for Skye Food was very good
Overlooking Bradford Bay, this luxury 4-star hotel is situated in the village of Broadford on the Isle of Skye. Established in 1611, Broadford Hotel is the original home of Drambuie whisky liqueur. Great location. Clean big rooms. Beds very comfortable. Love the bar/ lounge. Breakfast was great!
Set in Broadford, 13 km from Kyle of Lochalsh, Hebridean Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar. Probably one of the nicest and biggest hotel room I ever stayed in. The view was also great. The staff was very attentive and the restaurant downstairs was 10/10. Can only recommend it
Located on the Isle of Skye, Broadford House Skye has rooms with free WiFi. The twin rooms have a shared bathroom whilst the other rooms at the property have an ensuite bathroom. We had a great time there. Everything was even more than expected, we are definitely coming back!
Located in Broadford, Croft4 offers two 2-bedroom cottages with self-catering facilities. Complimentary Wi-FI and Free Parking is provided. Very convenient for the south part of Skye and not so far from Portree (about 40 minutes driving). Cosy, clean, spacious, quiet, roomy, relaxing; appliances easy to use; basic supplies provided on arrival; some good guide books and leaflets. Co-op 2 minutes driving from Croft4. Host available, but not hovering.

Cozy and very clean - we felt right at home. The lounge and garden have incredible views over the water. The hosts are lovely and very helpful. Delicious breakfast with a great choice. Broadford is well situated for a visit to Skye and also to take the wee ferry to Glenelg in the summer. It is a very small town with a couple of restaurants, a chip shop, a co-op and nice places to walk a dog by the shore.
That the place we chose, the Cottar was just the sort of cottage for us-simply furnished with not too many mod cons, making us feel that our carbon footprint wasnt too high and that the cottage reflected the beautiful natural surroundings. The view over to Scalpay was superb. The cottage was so near the sea that we were able to launch our kayak easily and just step into the water for a swim.
Isle of Skye was a stunning place to visit and experience the incredible natural beauty of Scotland The Hebridean Inn was centrally located close to the Skye Bridge and on a main access route into the Isle. Restaurants are in close proximity and the major tourist attractions are a short drive away. It is an ideal place from which to explore or hike.
Good location for reaching Cuillins. Hebridean Inn is actually in Harrapool which joins onto Broadford, which is fine but it is a 25min walk into centre of Broadford. Some nice art& craft studios.
Was really dissapointed with the hotel. No tea or milk in the room. Room was freezing- no heating on for us arriving. The room was very basic. Not a lot to do outside the hotel and drinks were quite expensive. Really really dissapointed overall.
Broadford is a good starting point to visit Skye. There is a Co-op, gas station, plenty of places to eat or do some shopping. Some paths/backroads to the coast/beach, but actually Broadford itself it is not a destination.
Skerrols is a beautiful house. They layout is excellent and it has been tastefully decorated. The beds and sofas are all very comfortable - clearly thought has gone into making this the best possible holiday home rather than functional. My 2 children adored it and were really sad to leave. Broadford is a fantastic base to explore Skye from, and Skerrols' position is perfect - secluded, off the main road (so quiet and safe) but within 10 minutes' walk of everywhere in Broadford. Two eating places are within 4-5 minutes.
This was an excellent hotel! We were able to get a last minute reservation and the owner put us on a large handicap accessible room with a kitchen, dining area, bedroom and bath. Everything was quite clean and the location of the property is in a farm like area just outside of the town of Broadford. We did not get a chance to see the rest of the mansion rooms or the unique cabins, but the location was wonderful. It would have been nice to stay here for several days. Highly recommend!
The location was great, a good base and a 40 minute drive from Portreee (much cheaper than Portree too). Beautiful view of the water from the restaurant. Staff were really friendly. The bar has a nice atmosphere, the restaurant serves delicious food and the breakfast was great too. The rooms were cosy, the shower in the room was amazing. I had a lovely 7 night stay here exploring Skye. I will be coming back and will stay in this hotel again.
Awkward to find as it is tucked behind the backpackers hostel. There is a sign at the end of the road Lovely view from the Lodge. There are 6 lodges which were only built this summer. Broadford is a good position for exploring the island. Two bathrooms / shower rooms. WIFi was a bonus. Heating was good and terrace for sitting outside. We were welcomed to the lodges and shown now to work the heating,,cooker and WiFi
Lovely big attic-style room on the third floor (be prepared if carrying your suitcase 😃). Clean & modern. The breakfast seems to be a bit polarising in the reviews but we loved it - delicious overnight oats and warm croissants - yum! Make sure you book dinner out a few nights in advance as no restaurant on site (we went to Red Skye - it was delicious!).
Everything about this property was as represented on here. It's a lovely property with spectacular views from every room. The inside was very clean and very cozy, my family didn't want to leave. The host welcomed us with a basket of goodies and we were touched and there was a pack for places to see around Skye. We enjoyed our stay
A very comfortable and clean hostel on the Isle of Skye. The staff are very helpful and friendly and are willing to help you and recommend places to visit and eat. Close to the hostel there are several restaurants, a large supermarket and the cheapest petrol station along the way. The lounge is spacious and comfortable, as are the rooms.
The Cottar was a great find, I stayed there with my partner for 5 nights. A rustic, very authentic cottage right down by the water. It is decorated in very good taste and the views are breathtaking. All in all we consider ourselves lucky for having stayed at this beautiful accommodation as it made our trip to Skye even more memorable.
Very comfortable accommodation. It was home from home basically. Good location with a supermarket very close by and not too far after coming into Skye. The accommodation had great internet which we were not expecting as the original description said no Internet. Very comfortable beds we all slept fantastically
Everything! The house is cosy, the breakfast was wonderful and had a wide selection, the hosts were super welcoming and we immediatly felt at home. They even left home made cookies and milk in our room. The facilities were fab, both shower and a bathtub! Our last night on Skye was wondeful, thank you
Ok, if you are coming to Skye, you're not coming to experience the luxury accommodation. Broadford house is perfectly comfortable, and the beds are clean. We were lucky to be able secure accommodation at all, even booking 3 months in advance. When we did see staff, they were warm and friendly.
I loved many things about staying at The Skye Picture House. Gorgeous waterfront views, spacious, clean, comfortable room. modern amenities with a homey feel. The Skye Picture House porridge is the best that I have ever had!
The location was perfect for exploring Skye and was very peaceful. The cottage was really spacious and very well equipped and the beds were super comfy. Josephine was lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful.
