I like its oldness; I like the fact that all the bulls in the field behind The George hotel have their names on an ear tabs; I like the view of the Tor from the Ledge and I love the generosity of spirit which has created the Moat Garden. Beautiful village setting in rural Somerset. Must be a driver to get around, although there are very basic amenities on the doorstep. If not eating out within the village you need to have a plan of where you are going to eat (google and trip advisor are your friend here). The food at The George was freshly prepared and if a high standard. Good range of choices for all meals. Wish we could have eaten there more.
