We enjoyed our first stay in Cirencester and especially enjoyed the airport with the volunteers on the Britannia airplane as they were so knowledgeable. We originally went to see the Buccaneer planes but weren’t able to because no volunteers were present but the Britannia volunteers made up for it and were brilliant. A MUST visit for anyone interested the older aircraft!

A lovely market town with some interesting individual shops, market stalls and restaurants. We took our dog who was allowed in all the shops and made welcome everywhere we went. There was long stay and short stay parking nearby. We were spoilt for coffee shops and bakeries, mostly independently run.

Good looking old Cotswold town with good facilities, eg a large Waitrose, wide range of shops. A magnificent old church and a good centre for visiting nearby villages such as Bibury. Driving and parking in Cirencester can be a pain. There are all sorts sorts of unnecessary rules, such as that you can drive in some roads only at certain times. These signs sren't easy to see and, for a small market town, seem OTT.

The Stump was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay! We were there for 3 nights and the staff were lovely and willing to help, especially Natalie (?). The bed was extremely comfortable and the best pillows we've had at a hotel! The room was impeccablely clean and they've modernised the bathroom whilst keeping its charm. Breakfast was delicious and they serviced our room daily. We loved being outside of town but recommend people to have a car as taxi's are very expensive! We will be staying here again!

This is a lovely hotel well situated on the edge of the town centre. It is clean and comfortable, although (to my mind) rather eccentrically decorated. We only had a light breakfast but what we had was lovely. The staff, when you could find them, were helpful and friendly.
