Try to make it easy for Tourist to locate the places of interest by putting up large sign or poster which is very indicative. Try not putting small signs that eventually gets covered by overgrowth from the tree branches or bushes.
Cirencester is a lovely town, beautiful church. Nice small local shops. Nearby villages Bibury, Poulton etc. lovely. Swan in Bibury good food, Falcon in Poulton fantastic food! Gloucester Cathedral fantastic! Gloucester is really run down, what a shame! city council need to get their act together!
Cirencester and the Cotswolds area as a whole is very beautiful in the summer time. Unfortunately the area has been in decline with the current CDC and “developers” have mucked it all up and turned the town centre into an accident waiting to happen. There are a lot less local shops and more large chain stores. Shame really for it was a very pretty market town.
Easy walk to center of town. The Corinium Museum is a must see. As is the Roman villa at Chedworth. Weekly craft and artist faires in center of town, as well as farmers market. Lots of good restaurants in town. Surrounding countryside is well worth exploring.
It's the largest Cotswold town. The church St. John is worth seeing. The Sunday service had the best sermon I have heard in a very long time, the priest spoke about wisdom and Tied in english history with the Bible and interpretation so nicely it made you think. Plus he had a sense of humor! A delightful surprise. The town itself has overpriced goods and shops. I ventured out to two house gardens the Barnsley house which was overgrown since the days rosemary verey made english gardening famous in the states. The other garden was cerney house which they are working on and trying to keep up in honor of their mum. It was beautiful and all done with self service. Cabs from cirencester ran about 9-14 each. I did both gardens in a day easy using James taxi service.
As a more elderly couple, access, parking, park benches, etc all count. Cirencester has lots to do and see even when wet. The new Corinium Museum is very well done and to be recommended. There are some lovely villages (eg The Duntisbournes, The Rissingtons and Barringtons) to explore. Try the Daneways Pub for lunch at Sapperton, to be recommended as is the Highwayman on the Gloucester Road. Lots of interesting arty little shops and cafes. Parking is not the easiest especially if handicapped, but manageable. Recommend the new Cirencester Baptist Church, a lovely welcome on a Sunday.

A wonderful little hideaway in a gorgeously quiet street in beautiful Cirencester. A few mins walk from the town centre with parking just outside, it really is an ideal location. The property has everything you need, was lovely and clean, with the most comfiest bed. I really like how they have utilised the space and I would love to stay there again. Highly recommended!

I found the room to be clean and perfectly adequate, the bed was comfy, the breakfast was nice and the chef very friendly. 10-15 mins walk into town and free car parking. Reasonable price for Cirencester and I was happy not to have paid quite a bit more to stay more centrally, as the walk was no problem at all.
